Beans & Brews Coffee House has been around since 1993, when the Laramie family opened shop next to Salt Lake City’s beloved hangout, Liberty Park. The family refined the process of high-altitude roasting, which results in uniquely smooth coffee with intense flavor.
Beans & Brews—or “Beans,” as friends call us for short—is now a staple around Utah and its friends, Idaho and Nevada.
Our guests are our reason for getting up in the morning. We love greeting regulars with their favorite drinks, made just the way they like ‘em. And we dig getting to know newcomers from all over the world and welcoming them to the Beans community.

Brewed Coffee Ah, the classic. This is our go-to here at Beans–we’re famous for the High Altitude Roasting that gives our brews a smooth intensity. We use 100% Arabica coffee beans and produce a flavor you can’t find anywhere else.
Espresso It’s rich, it’s aromatic, and it packs a punch! We roast our beans at high altitude, then finely grind them and force high-pressure water over them to produce this extra-dark, extra-delicious pick-me-up.
Eye Opener Slow morning? We have the solution. Enjoy our French roast brew with two added shots of espresso. That’s one for each sleepy eye.
Americano For an Americano, we add a shot of espresso to piping-hot water to create a drink as strong as a drip coffee, but with the rich flavor and aroma you only find with an espresso.

I can’t even adequately rate them since the people there are great. The drinks are good…but don’t waste your time at this location with their app. Which is insane since they’re located smack dab in the middle of silicon slopes! If you have a reward and want to use the app to pay, you can’t do both. This is something I complained about almost a year ago and then again today with the same reply of “our IT is wirking on it” Bad customer experience, bad experience for their employees as they can’t do anything about it.

Coffee tastes horrible. This “croissant” sandwich looks and tasted sad. This place needs to reinvent itself and try again. I first tried Beans & Brews (this location to be exact) back in 2021 and wow, it was bad then and is still bad now.

I used to love this location. I went every day for almost 2 years. The management changed, my favorite employees all left, they changed their hours and started trying to upsell energy drinks and granola bars before every order which is incredibly annoying. It’s still decent, but the drinks can be inconsistent at times.

Nice, clean and welcoming! We went as a group of 4 people, each ordered and had 1 person pay. Seemed the wait was a few minutes longer than usual for your typical coffee, iced coffee or smoothie. The workers (2) apologized for the longish wait…. That’s why 4 stars. Other than that great place! Super clean environment, great place to sit and visit with friends. Plenty of booths or tables. Side bar for added straws, napkins, water, ice etc…. Open on Sunday, open WiFi. The drinks we got we’re tasty and worth the $$$ prices were from $3 to $7 depending on size and added extras etc… Great stop for a quick bite or coffee break. I can see why there been around for plenty of years! They know what they are doing and know how to do it, well!!

I waited for more than 20 minutes in the drive-thru for my order. There were only 2 cars ahead of me that each only had 1 or 2 items. When I got to the window, the workers were standing around chatting and paying very little attention to the line of orders. I actually come here often because, despite the terrible coffee, I like their sandwiches; but, between the decline in service and bad coffee, it’s just not worth coming here anymore.
