Meh. I don’t usually write poor reviews but honestly there was nothing special about this place. To start, the wait time was horrible to order for dine in (about 30 mins). The food was mediocre…my brisket was incredibly dry and my husband said his chicken was OK but nothing to write home about. The mac and cheese was a bit flavorless, almost reminded me of school lunch mac and cheese. As far as the atmosphere, it was clean, but honestly, like so many other restaurants (including Mission BBQ), they have the metal trays and brown paper. And for what you get, really overpriced….for a plain brisket sandwich it was 8.40 and then an additional $4.50 for a side of mac and cheese (served in a paper dish/tray…same paper trays they give you fish in to feed the stingrays at seaworld ) and a fountain drink. We spent $27 on a LUNCH at a fast food restaurant. We could have gone to outback for the same. Just not worth it.

Disappointing. Big fan of 4 Rivers and thrilled that they opened a location in our town. I have had the Tampa location cater many company functions. However, highly disappointed with the quality of the food and the way it was served. We ordered from the drive-thru as it was too hot to wait outside. Part of our order included a $10 side of burnt ends that was served in a small container. There was barely a cup of burnt ends in the container as if someone had eaten half of it! But the worst part was that it was swimming in grease. The exterior of each container was covered in grease. My husband’s baked cheese grits were a soggy square covered in a dry chewy “skin” from the steam because they packed it in foil. My salad was wilted and past it’s prime so I had to throw more than half of it out. We will not be returning or recommending.

Party of 3…my wife and daughter got their food fairly quickly with no issue. They both enjoyed their food. Unfortunately it took over 20 minutes to receive my 3 tacos. Everyone’s meals were finished. Bigger issue here was the food delivery staff gave tacos to two different people who ordered well after me, before I got mine. Zero organization and only 1 staff member seemed to care. I told them I’d just take them in a to go box and ate them in the car. Add on top that the meat in the tacos was cold and you’ve got a pretty bad experience.

This place is new & crowded! I waited 45 minutes In line.15 of those minutes consisted of me standing outside.once I finally entered. I placed my order to dine in.sat at the table until my food was ready. all foods made fresh to order. I am not the biggest fan of BBQ. But if you are?! this is the place for you! I was able to take home my leftovers. Great Standard customer service. I can’t give this place 5 stars across the board but it’s worth recommending to a friend!
