Best chili, hot pickles and the coldest beer in Kansas. Great atmosphere, staff is top notch. Tucked away in a quaint spot. Happy Hour starts at 4p. Swing by and check it out!

Excellent spot. Just what you want from a funky out of the way place. Chill bar, great food and relaxed service. Pickles are excellent and tamales on the weekend are delicious!

This establishment has changed owners. I’m a retired UPRR employee. I worked in Topeka for a short time. We all went to the Russian deli. Now you only get a choice of 3 meats and one was balogna. The horseradish pickles were what we all loved so much. That recipe changed and not for the better. I didn’t try the chili. I ate a pastrami sandwich. It was good, but it was just a sandwich on wheat bread. Corners have been cut at this restaurant. I miss the old place.

Great local food place! The chili was spicy and hearty! The spicy pimento cheese was great and lived up to the spicy in its name! Pickles were hot and the beer was cold.

Great low key diner experience. We had chili and cinnamon roll and chili with macaroni salad and potato salad. Chili was well seasoned with tomato and beans and 4 or so hot sauce options to boost it up. Don’t forget to try the hot pickles!

Still great chili and hot pickles, in the newly re decorated building that has more seating.

Best chili in Little Russia by far and probably in all of Russia. It is completely worth the trip for the chili, sandwiches and all of the sides. There is a nice little bar scene that is perfect for a cold beer while enjoying your meal. The facility is cleaned up and the owner is a real cunning linguist. If you haven’t tried it you should definitely make the trip.

They remodeled the Porubsky location adding seating on the West side. They have their own recipe, flavorful, but not the same. Hard to get to but worth the effort.

Everything was great. We were especially impressed with the chili and ham sandwich. My 20-month old would easily give it 5 stars-she had 4 helpings of the chili.
