We decided to try a different place in town, I was not thrilled with the decision. The atmosphere was very nice and our server was very friendly and good. She knew our experience wasn’t great, but she was fantastic. I ordered the steak and pasta, my wife the pork tenderloin. We got our drinks fairly quickly, and our side salads within about 10 minutes, that’s about the best part of the meal. Waited 45 minutes for the rest of our order. I received a bowl full of a watery, red tinged “sauce” with soggy, cold bowtie pasta. The steak was cooked to the correct color, but was as tough as old rawhide and cold. The best I could say about my dish is that it didn’t taste bad, just completely tasteless and visually unappealing, I mean absolutely zero flavor, even after a bunch of salt and pepper: tasteless. The garlic bread was good though. My wife, as I mentioned, ordered the pork tenderloin, and received a thick cut pork chop still on the bone (what’s the restaurant name again?) that was grossly overcooked and tougher than my steak. She said the seasoning was good, but she couldn’t chew it enough to seem like it was ready to swallow. Won’t be returning…

I found that Off the Bone Steaks, Pastas and Burgers offers decent dining. The restaurant is a little out of the way being right next to Mathers bar. The inside of the restaurant offers a decent atmosphere and the servers are skilled and courteous. I can’t remember the name of the pasta I tried, but it had red wine and steak in it. It was splendid!

The food is top notch. The presentation of the salad, bread, and main course was 5 star, as was the service. The decor and atmosphere doesn’t match the quality of the food and service, so don’t let that throw you when you walk in the door, which by the way, is in the back of an old school bar. Get by the initial impression and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Horrible! Ordered a prime rib for 28.00 not worth the money! So disgusting! Rest of the family’s food was also disgusting only thing that seemed slightly decent was the burgers. I would not recommend coming here. Only thing that was nice was how friendly the waitress was, Also this is no longer off the bone steaks it is now side door kitchen.

The only reason I’m reviewing one star is so I can review at all. I’m extremely disappointed in off the bone. Ecspecially after reading the reviews I was excited to eat here. We sat down, our server said her name was niki, she took our drink order and then came back multiple of times to ask me what I ordered. We then ordered the chicken Alfredo I got a ceasar salad and my boyfriend got a house salad with thousand island, she brought my boyfriends salad and then asked me what kind of salad I wanted after I had already ordered it, she brought fry sauce for my boyfriends salad. When I finally got my salad the dressing was awful and the salad it’s self was down right disgusting. We waited for an hour or so and the serve came and asked if we wanted to box our salads I said no. She then asked if we wanted dessert, I told her maybe after we get our meal we will decide then. She said oh yeah it’ll be done in a minute. We finally get our Alfredo. The noodles were not cooked through, the chicken was cold in the middle, and the sauce was straight up bland. I spoke to the manager and she said she would be right back and never came back. Niki then came and picked our check up and said wow you guys are so awesome have a good one and walked away. Very very rude. I’ve never been treated so poorly by people who’s jobs are based off of customer service.

Renewed my faith in the good ole American steakhouse. Amazing hand cut Ribeye. Was just in Argentina and this steak would definitely hold up there. Hand cut steak fries were the perfect match for this tasty slab of beef. Great dinner salad too. And the creme brule was so good, I was in heaven. To long has this area gone without a steak house deserving of all the ranching history around there. A hard working local owns this establishment and their hard work shows. I’ll be eating here whenever near Craig, it’s that good, heck i’ll even drive out of my way.

Arrived to almost empty place, waited an hour for cold food and inaccurate orders. At least my side salad was cold and fresh, that’s it. Dissatisfied with having a lukewarm burnt sirloin and cold veggies.

We went as a family to dinner and have never been to this restaurant before but had high hopes for good food and all we got was disappointment we ordered rib eye steak time’s two and one chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes and two hamburgers .,the steaks was rubbery and had a taste of biter burnt taste and the chicken fried steak was tough and rubbery and no flavor and with the chicken fried steak came with mashed potatoes and gravy the grave was so bad my wife couldn’t eat it I tasted it it tasted like oily potatoes no flavor at all but the hamburgers where very small compared to the size of the bun and the Fry’s I got we’re the scaps all small less than a inch and burnt if u dicede to eat here don’t expect anything it’s that bad and we spent 140 dollars never again and that’s why they changed their name to side door because of its a nasty place to eat in Craig Colorado don’t do what I did because it was a special night for our family never again..The name should be Dumpster Bin Side Door Kitchen of Craig co
