Delicious food, strong margaritas, and outstanding service… what more could one ask for?

This is a nice quaint spot when first pulling into Taos from Santa Fe. It’s a small but very comfortable And relaxed spot. Servers were friendly and the food was top notch. I had the green Chile burger and it was delicious. A bit over cooked from the medium i requested but still delicious. The enchilada plate was delicious.

Being in Taos, I figured it was a great place to satiate my desire for some decent Mexican food. I did a little research and found Antonio’s which was just down the road from where I was staying. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted and seated. The staff was extremely friendly and the service overall was excellent. I saw on the specials board a mushroom enchilada with sirloin beef tips that was billed as “out of this universe.” How can one not try that?!?! Let’s just say, from the first bite, I was floating off into outer space. It was absolutely delicious. Plus, the delicious chips and guacamole along with the option for gluten free beer.. Possibly the best Mexican food I have had in years. And the bonus was seeing all of the photos of Guy Fieri who visited in Sept of 2022. He picked the right place. And you should too!

Having been recommended Antonio’s we just had to try! We weren’t disappointed, varied menu choices, timely service my house speciality was great, husbands beef skirt was ok. Overall the experience was good and would certainly recommend the place.

They only take reservations for 6 or more. We got there around 6:00 on a Sunday and every table was full. There are only about 10 tables. Outside seating was available but it was a bit chilly. There were seats at the small bar so we sat there. Took awhile for someone to acknowledge us, but it was super busy. Drinks were a bit pricey, $14 for Tito’s and soda, but it was a large glass and a good pour. We shared the steak fajitas with rice, beans and delicious guacamole! All was tasty! Steak was sizzling and tender and a good portion. The owner Antonio took the time to chat with us even though he was busy waiting tables! His wife Sarah recommended the chocolate cake with raspberry and mango sauces. OMG! moist and delicious and large! Enjoyed everything! Would go back.

Way overpriced for what you get. $5 for a can of soda. I ordered enchiladas and they were very good. Their chili’s and sauces are very tasty. But for a plate of enchiladas and 1 soda was $30. Good food, but not really worth the price. Could have gotten the same food, same quality elsewhere for half the price. It is set right on the main strip and sitting outside, very loud traffic.

I appreciate that there’s a bar to sit at and table service (not stand in line forever and order at the counter like the place across the street).

Great food. We got the signature dish. They flavors were amazing!! Couldn’t get a frozen margarita because the machine was broken. I had a regular margarita and it was very good.
