We went during the early evening on a Tuesday and there was plenty of seating available. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the service was Very good. Our apps were good and my husband’s pasta was very good however my low country shrimp and grits were by FAR the best shrimp and grits I’ve EVER had. Anywhere. Ever. Whatever the heck that sauce was is just mind blowing. Absolutely outstanding. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!

My husband and I stopped here to get a quick bite to eat and loved it. We got the “she crab” soup which is a Charleston staple and crab dip. Both were delicious and we loved the amount of crab in both!

We were in town to celebrate a birthday and to embark on a cruise ship the next day. I was supposed to be amongst the party of people but this is a two-story restaurant and I have mobility challenges so I decided to sit down stairs.

The server was one of the sweetest people ever. The atmosphere was fun and lively. We all had The Crab House Crab Pot. It was one of the best meals out I’ve ever had. Please bottle that garlic butter for me to take home! It was an overall excellent experience.

The crabhouse had a big crowd on Saturday, even 5, which is to be expected. We ordered whole fried flounder, which wasn’t scored or cut at all, making it a little difficult to eat. It looked great but was very bland. It had no flavor or seasoning to speak of. We also ordered red fish, which was baked. It was cooked perfectly and is a great option. My son had fried shrimp, which he also loved. Servers were friendly, and it was I’m a great location near the market. I would return, but I would likely not have the flounder again, which I typically love.

My wife and I went for dinner on our last night in Charleston after a quick weekend trip to see family in Savannah. We went ahead and got reservations but there was no need, there was plenty of seating avialble wen we got there. We sat upstirs and Tyniyah was our server. She was fantastic. Friendly, knowledable, good sense of humor – just made the meal better. We started with hush puppies and a small order (3) of roast oysters McClellanville – both were absolutely fantastic. For our meal my wife ordered the Veggie Pasta with shrimp, I got the grilled sea scallops. Both were absolutely amazing. For dessert, i opted for a peice of key lime pie, which is my favorite. It was good but not as good as the meal. We agreed that this was the best meal we had had in years. I called the manager over and told how great everything was and that anyone that said the place up the road and around the corner was better, is crazy wrong. IF you are in Charleston, this place is a must stop!

So good! They accommodated our party of nine and had a great server. Food was delicious and server was excellent. My son got the filet with crab legs and my husband and I split the seafood trio. It was so good. Really appreciated this place.

Had a wonderful lunch on the upstairs outdoor patio. Service and food was excellent. Shrimp and grits was the star of the show but the hushpuppies and crab cake were not far behind. Highly recommend if in Charleston!
