Horrible customer service! I had an issue with my shrimp toast and kindly called to get a refund or something in exchange and was told no and left on the phone until I eventually hung up. I’ve never had shrimp toast without the shrimp inside! I will never order from them again.

Bad customer service. Ordered here because it’s down the street from my house. Got home with my food and it was incorrect. Which is okay, people make mistakes. Here’s what got me…. I called to tell them about it to have my order corrected and she proceeded to hold the phone away and argue with someone else about the order. Only to come back and tell me I do see that the order was wrong- what do you want me to do about it?

Okay so the food is good. I feel like some things could be better but that’s not the reason I’m giving a lower review. The other day my hubby and I ordered food, I am 9 months pregnant and I can’t really walk too fast. The delivery driver got here and BANGED on my door. I’m talking as loud as he could I literally jumped out of my skin. I said please give me on minute and I asked my hubby in the kitchen if he could grab the door and in the middle of me saying that the driver starts yelling at my door and banging on my window and then door again. In the midst of him continuously banging on my window my husband opened the door and was like dude what’s wrong are you good and the guy just stood there. It took maybe 20 seconds for my husband to walk from where he was to the front door. If I were alone I would have never answered the door with how loud he was banging and screaming. We’ve decided to start trying a new place because that was extremely disrespectful and uncalled for. I called and all I got was an I’m sorry he’s probably in a rush…don’t disrespect me or my home like that and with him being in Essex he’s lucky someone didn’t open the door after that and knock him out. Luckily my husband has patience and didn’t but I couldn’t imagine anyone else around here. Do better and learn some respect.

Horrible customer service. They forgot part of my order and blamed it on me. They claimed the driver will come pick it up the food when all I wanted is the credit. The young girl who I assume to be the daughter that answers the phone needs a class in customer service. Order from anywhere else but this place. They lost out on a good customer over a side of noodles.

If you are looking for traditional American Chinese food and want something a little different, you have to try this place. Most Chinese places seem to use the same exact ingredients, flavor, and end up with the same taste and style as any other place. However, Man Hing makes things a little different. Don’t worry, it’s not that different than other Chinese food places. For example, every place I get Chinese food, the red pork is just little slivers. At Man Hing, they put whole pieces of the red pork in there dishes. Of course I only get a few different dishes on the regular so, I can’t speak for all the food there. They also have a great Cantonese dish called Chow Fun. So the service and speed is the same as the average Chinese food carryout. Can’t say nothing about delivery, as I always go pick my food up. If you go in to pick up your order, take a look at how beautiful the ceiling is. There is a lot of history to this place. They have been around a very long time. Maybe even the first Chinese restaurant in town. Don’t quote me on that. Family and friends that I have introduced to Man Hing, are always impressed. Oh, also, easy street parking or the lot on the side of the building.
