HRB is a modern Hand Roll Bar inspired by Japanese traditions, flavors and techniques. Our concept was created to provide an experience showcasing Japanese produce and delicacies. HRB Hand Rolls are carefully prepared using a special nori (seaweed) form Ariake Bay in Japan. Speaking of which…. we recommend eating the Hand Rolls right away as nori begins to lose its crispiness once in contact with oxygen. Our rice is known as one of the best short grain rice varieties in the world and we like it warm to reveal the vinegar notes and strike balance with the temperature of the fish . Our biggest challenge is to source the freshest seafood whilst also making smart choices for our planet.

HRB is a great experience. The sushi quality is top notch. You can tell the sushi here is more traditional and simple, they let the sushi speak for itself and you can tell the quality of the fish really shines through. Yes the meal is expensive. We spent 98$ for a combo 6, miso soup, and a sushi roll. You are paying for quality. If you are starving I might suggest something else. If you are looking for a high quality sushi experience I would suggest checking out HRB.

This is an unique spot at the Westfield area. It’s outdoor sitting only and chill area casual dining. It is a bit overpriced for what they serve, but the ingredients are fresh and sourced locally. The customer service sucks! I was there in the afternoon around 4PM, 3 servers chit chatting and not providing services at all, yet they still bill you 18% service fees for 1 person dining. Lol

This place was good but not great and that’s only due to the portion sizes. For the amount you pay for a roll, you would expect to at least get a little more out of the hand roll/sushi roll. The handrolla are literally 2 bites each which just does not cut it in my opinion. The fish was just a spoon full over rice basically. Disappointed but still good sushi.

Tasty little pop up near the food court. I would compare to Kazu Nori but with a bigger hot food selection. Gratuity is added to bill.

I really can’t get enough of HRB in Century City. My love for the mall is even deeper now since discovering this delicious sushi spot. I’m here at least 3x a month and my sushi cravings are always satisfied after a long day of shopping. They source really fresh fish and I’m obsessed with their citrusy rolls and sashimis. I highly recommend this place. Incredible service and amazing for a fun lunch or dinner with a friend!

The customer service was by far the worst I’ve ever seen for a sushi place. The waitress walked right by us after checking on the people to the left and right of us. We were there for about 45 minutes and never once had a single waiter / waitress ask if we were ready to order. On top of that there were only maybe 15 people and the 5 people working couldn’t even handle the customers there. Fix the customer service issue with your employees or you’ll continue to lose customers. There was another family that also had another issue. Overall just customer issues across the board.

Amazing selection of hand rolls here. What really impressed me was how fast we were seated for a Saturday night (party of 4). The 6 roll combo is definitely worth it, you really get some bang for your buck here! You feel extra fancy because your soy sauce is dispensed through a pipette so you can get the best drops on your rolls. Not only are the rolls delicious and nicely prepared, the sake and beer are perfect pairings as well! To be honest it didn’t feel too expensive because I feel like for the price, it’s worth it for the great meal and experience. The service wasn’t too slow either, so that was nice! Will definitely be back here again.

I visited the Century City Mall location. The menu is nice and short. I ordered the Crispy Spicy Tuna from the appetizer menu, it did not disappoint. I also had the #4 combo, signature (spicy tuna), salmon, albacore, and baby scallops. They serve the sushi bento box style accompanied by fresh ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce. The bartender recommended a delightful light beer. Sorry I don’t know the name. The sushi is fresh, delicious and prepared beautifully. Customer service was good, not exceptional. Yes I will go back.

Good service, nice outdoor seating. I prefer my hand rolls served one at a time for the crunch but their style is all at the same time. Salmon sashimi is good but super thinly sliced therefore over priced.
