On July 1, 2023, three of us embarked on a mission to visit all 12 L&L locations on the Big Island. This was our 10th stop. While waiting to place our order, the lady working here “yelled” at my friend for mistaking a table for a bench. There were no chairs at the table and even if there were, there would be no place to sit and fit in the tiny space allotted for ordering.

The healthy choice garlic shrimp was delicious and with a generous portion of grilled shrimp. The accompanying salad was fresh and with lots of tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and purple canbage. Visually appealing and a good value.

Usually go to lemongrass. Wanted something different so I went to L & L. The food wasn’t even hot. Not even warm. It was almost cold. The chicken was breaded and so old the breading was soggy and eating it was literally like eating stale cold McDonald’s French fries. I will NEVER eat here again. Wasted money. At least my dogs liked it. They ate it because I couldn’t barely swallow the chicken. Now I remember why I always go to lemongrass. Yuck

The food is fresh and they have a great selection of local food,chinese and american. I got a 2 choice plate and they give me really big scoops that i have leftovers for they next day. The price isnt bad either. I would go before 12 or 5 thats when its not to busy and they just put out for lunch or dinner so everything is so fresh and good. I paid $34 and that was for 3 2choice plates.
