I enjoyed the food here. The majority of the food had good flavors and taste. However, the steak fried rice can be improved.

We had Chinese New Year eve dinner there and the place was packed. We were seated at the bar with proper dining table. Service was prompt and the signature duck was delicious – the skin is crispy and the lemon enhanced the favor and the steam buns were soft. Generous portion and tasty filet of fish dish. We also had pea tips with garlic. It is great to have a authentic chinese restaurant on Mercer Island and the food price is very reasonable for the dishes are high quality.

Amazing new restaurant on the east side. Chinese food elevated to gourmet. Not only is the food amazingly delicious but the presentations are so beautifully crafted. Highlights were the duck (the caramelized lemons brought an amazing pop to the duck); crispy pork belly (my fave and a must order); soft shell crab (almost tempura like with their light but crispy coating); chicken wings topped with garlic butter and the black squid ink rice with bacon and cheese. The decor inside was nicely decorated and really loved the lights. For a soft opening, their service was great! Definitely will be returning often!

Great date place! I saw another review saying the drinks were not the best, but my partner and I loved our mango drop and spicy margarita. We got the forbidden roast duck and the squid ink fried rice, which was way too much food for two people but was delicious! I’d say the squid ink rice was more of a cheesy, savory dish and the duck had a bit more flavor with the caramelized/candied lemons and hoisin. Parking was super easy in the associated garage, too.

Our friend suggested this restaurant for a get-together and 4 of us had a great time. Caramelized lemon added freshness to the roast duck dish and Thai basil in the beef dish was also refreshing. Our server Emmy was very delightful.

Innovative restaurant with many interesting takes on classic Chinese dishes. I noticed the jelly fish salad had more of a Sichuan flavor profile instead of the more traditional Cantonese flavoring. It was very tasty. Crispy pork and salt and pepper prawns weren’t greasy and had really good flavor and texture. Beijing duck tasted as good as it’s fancy presentation. Service was really friendly and attentive.

Pretty good place. We had a very big party. We asked our waiter if the portions were big enough and they said yes. The portions were not big enough for the 8 of us. Great tasting food. Had to order seconds so all of us could have some.

Excited for this restaurant to be open and in full swing! Have been lucky enough to go to soft opening and experience the elevated takes on classic Chinese dishes. The best duck in town by far, and the squid in rice – so delicious like nothing I’ve had before. Also great is the crispy pork belly. I’m sure this will be a regular spot for me when then open full-time.
