WOW! This was some of the best Indian food I’ve tasted. I’ve been in the KoP area for 1 week with a co-worker. This is bar none the best meal we’ve had all week. We went for dinner. In particular, the tangy eggplant appetizer was incredible. Happy Grover, one of two people serving us, made excellent recommendations. This is also the only place around that will serve you actual spicy food if you ask for it! The service was excellent, the food was affordable, the place is clean, the atmosphere nice but not stuffy. What can I say, this is the only place I’ll make a note of to come back to next time I’m here. Only downside is that it is a BYOB joint like most places in the area. Coming from out of town on an expense account… However, with the great food, good tea and unique after dinner treats, we hardly missed the wine list.

We went here because we heard Happy left Shagun and wound up at Desi Spice. The food was great but honestly I love this man. If you want good Indian cuisine and an amazing host please come here. Happy makes you feel like you’ve known him forever and can trust his opinions on what to get every time you’ll go. It is always an endearing experience to eat good served by Happy. I went to Spice Kitchen a few days ago and the food was awesome! I felt the service was great too, everyone was fast, pleasant, and always had smiles on their faces. Our food came out at a decent amount of time and the price was great, not too pricey considering how amazing the food was! But overall I would defiantly recommend this as the best Indian food in the area!! Well done Spice Kitchen!

Excellent food. Large variety. Very friendly staff. The buffet is unbelievably inexpensive for how good it is. Attentive service; very quick to refill water as some of the items are extremely spicy (and extremely delicious). Good selection of salad, soup, bread, entrees and deserts. Desi Spice deserves more than 5 out of 5 stars.

Great experience. Had the half tandoori chicken and one of the chicken kebabs and the veg noodles for our kids. Naan bread as well. Everything was cooked great. got the chicken with medium spice and it was the perfect amount of heat. BYOB so swing by the liquor store down the street and give this place a shot. Service was excellent (Happy!!).

Everytime we go in, we get the buffet, which is always stuffed with interesting, delicious options. The wait staff is super friendly and attentive, but not invasive. When we are feeling anti social, we’ll order pick up and their helpings are generous and, again, delicious. Also packaged well.

Food is excellent, good value, and the staff very friendly. The use of technology is a nice touch, being able to see what the dish would look like, select how much “heat” you want in it, and full descriptions through the use of the ***** tablets is a really cool touch. I am a fan of one of their local competition as well, but the food and atmopshere here has them beat easily. I’ve found my new #1 Indian place. Oh yeah… and try the Masala Tea. You won’t be disappointed.

Food was plentiful, delicious, and filling. The naan was soft and warm. The desserts were great! Paneer was good with enough cubes in proportion to the gravy. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.
