Not very good. I ordered 4 steak tacos with cilantro and onion. The meat was over cooked and dry, very little cilantro and onions. I haven’t tried anything else, and probably will not be coming back. If they can’t make a steak taco good I don’t see how the rest of it could be any good. A nice clean place and very helpful workers earns it a 2 star. Otherwise it would have been 1 star.

I love the food here, occasionally my food doesn’t hit the spot but thats okay. Waiters are always attentive and the best place to come here late at night. Most of the time though the parking is so full you have to park at the grocery store next door. In the future I do hope to see this place expand their parking lot.

I recently visited the restaurant and was impressed with the quality of food and the customer service. The staff were quick, friendly, and accurate. Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff were able to keep up with the demand and provide excellent service. This is not the los comales you are looking for. Low quality food, steak was over cooked and seemed unseasoned. Had the breaded chicken tortas aswell and they were lacking a lot of flavor. Every other los comales I’ve been to has been better.

The order was wrong after 2 people tried taking it. The vegetarian burrito had no beans and was mostly lettuce. Ordered two steak tacos plain and the steak was fatty and was mixed with hamburger meat. Not worth the money. I have been to other Los Comales and the food was amazing but this location was worse than Taco Bell.

Los Comales is an authentic taco place in West Chicago with an easygoing atmosphere. During my visit at lunch hours, it was bustling with takeout customers and foot traffic. Again, during my next visit on Saturday night, the taco place was busy with dine-ins and more takeout customers. The place upholds its traits of quick service and friendly staff even on its late schedule till 3:00 A.M. on Saturday nights. A must try at Los Comales is the taco and torta.
