Delicious authentic Cantonese dishes at reasonable prices. Assorted preserved meat hot pot rice is well cooked and so is Chow Fun in black bean sauce. However, service is slow and waiters are not very attentive.

The customer service is very bad. I order a lot of food worth over $75, but the restaurant don’t offer free rice or soup. Other Chinese restaurants have free rice and much friendly service. This young Chinese male waiter yelled at me and ask me to give him $12 tip, very rude. He does not welcome me and say don’t come again next time because I don’t give him the tip that he want. It’s the customer’s decision, I cannot believe this restaurant. Other restaurants never argue with me for tips. Never eat at this place again

It’s one of the few authentic and traditional Cantonese fare in the region. The crew is still the original one, maintaining the touch and feel over the decades. The food is well-rounded from appetizer, entree, and dessert. One could consume it all seasons, tastes just like back home. Topping it off with their house special soup, which is cooked for hours, one could easily get hooked for its holistic claim. The staff is accommodating who have catered to all types of palates, could add, subtract and mix, customizing to suit one’s peculiar taste buds to the tee!

May Mei is a solid classic Cantonese restaurant that does most dishes very well. Not 100%, but maybe like 95%. I’m very glad to see that it has made it through the Covid crisis, at least up to March of 2022.
