An acquaintance recommended this gem. This is some of the best Puerto Rican food I’ve ever had. The ropa Vieja was super tender, flavorful, overall great. The arroz con gandules was fantastic. But the tostones rellenos with chicken blew me away, the chicken had great flavor and the plantain was crispy and hardy. A bit pricey but well worth it. Portions are generous. Highly recommend.

Google says you can dine-in, but you can’t, it’s a to-go only restaurant for now. So I placed a to-go order, the wait was 30 minutes for two dishes. If I knew it was a to-go only place, I’d call ahead.

I have been consuming at this restaurant for 8 years. Today I placed an order by the phone and the person taking it took it wrong adding items that I didn’t ordered. The original order was one churrasco, two mofongos and a side of arroz mamposteado. I still went ahead and payed for everything they charged. The mofongos always come with a side of mayo-ketchup when I got the order they didn’t put the mayo-ketchup. I asked for the mayo-ketchup and the person wanted to charge for them even when always in the past they come as part of the mofongo.

Honestly, I got very emotional eating here today. Finding an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant in the PNW, and having them put their heart and soul into the food! Highly recommend checking out this restaurant. I will be coming back!

I don’t understand what is going on with the quality of food but it used to be amazing. The last 3 times I have ordered take out from them the pork chops were so over cooked that they were not edible unless you wanted to risk cracking a tooth. In the Arroz con gandules, they normally put well cooked small pieces of chicharrones and within the last few times they were under cooked and rubbery. What a shame, almost feels like they are precooking their food when they used to always claim the food is made to order. Truly sad because they’re literally the only Puerto Rican cuisine restaurant around but unfortunately their standards of cooking and flavor is beginning to lack.

It is great! And I say this as a puertorican. Food didn’t take that long to come out. I wish they had the was dine in option back already, but everything was good! The tembleque was amazing. The mofongo tasted great even without any sauce. I wish the chicharrones were more crunchy like traditional ones, but everything tasted great. Plenty of parking.

Absolutely amazing Puertorican food.. This is the place where they make you feel at home. I’ve been going there since they opened on a different location and had never been disappointed. Flavor is consistent, family owned business is always a great way to taste a little bit of home flavor.. recommend it..

Best Puerto Rican food I have ever had!! I’m from the Caribbean and the food was spot on. The flavors of the food melts in your mouth. We’ll definetly go back. It’s a little while in the wall type of spot. The atmosphere and decor is beautiful. The staff truly wants the best experience for everyone and the bring out a tablet with pictures of all the meals they offer. Best ever!!!
