I’m a vegetarian so it’s always hard to find a place that both me and my spouse will equally enjoy, but this place was the bomb. Attentive service and loved the bartender’s suggestions for a beer and the rocky pepper sauce. My meat eating partner had the authentic Philly and said it was one of the best in his life. My (I’m guessing seitan) sandwich was also phenomenal. Definitely looking forward to coming here again.

So Monti’s was recommended, and we were first-time dinners. We got the special lunch, Philly steak and chili. It was reasonably priced. The entire meal was delicious. I especially enjoyed the chili. It had a great homemade taste. It’s definitely a nice neighborhood spot. Good food! We’ll be back.

Omggg, I’m such a picky eater. I did not pick over my sandwich, I literally ate every single bite. I ordered the rocky I added shrooms and aged cheddar. As I get older and my taste buds change I crave quality. This was a quality sandwich, not greasy, not falling apart, flavorful and delicious. I was greeted once I entered and the staff was very friendly. I’ll definitely be back soon. As my first time I’ll admit this was the best Philly in Chicago hands down and I’ve been eating phillys around the city all my life.

Philly cheese steak was delicious! Ordered buffalo and lemon oregano wings. Buffalo wings were okay, but I DO NOT recommend the lemon oregano wings. They were disgustingly soggy and did not taste good! Will return for the Philly cheese steak!

I haven’t been here in awhile, but let me tell you they didn’t skip a beat. Very clean establishment. Definitely team oriented. Our server I believe was the owner was on point. He made sure that we had everything we needed and the food was great. I highly recommend the traditional Philly Cheesesteak. Reasonably priced and an all around good experience. Only complaint I have is that we ordered a bowl of chili and there was no fixins on it. No cheese, onion, nothing to dress it up. But everything else made up for it. Very great time and good here.

I’m so happy we found a great Philly cheesesteak place!!! We’re definitely going to become regulars. I love that they have a gluten free bun option that can actually hold the sandwich together and not just crumble away like most gluten free breads do. The rocky is really great but the authentic is even better. The vegetarian option is really good too!

The Philly steak sandwich was very good. The fries were just as good. Service was stellar, nice vibe. My family enjoyed their meals. Was on the pricey side, but that’s usually the case for a real Philly sandwich.

Trying a bit of Chicago for lunch and Montis beefsteak was added. Great beef! Needs more cheese it was almost undetectable actually couldn’t even find it. But it did arrive via door dash warm. Would have loved hot but door dash seems to be having issues delivering food hot. Maybe they all need new red bags for hot/cold?

Stopped in here yesterday afternoon for the 1st time , finally got around to it. Glad we did. Best cheesesteak in Chicago. Definitely reccomend the place . Staff was cool also.
