317 BBQ Menu – Indianapolis, IN

Type : Barbecue restaurant

Location : Indianapolis, IN

When restaurant people stare at a big brick building with a garage interior next to a parking lot that screams out “fun!”, they can’t help but think “Barbeque!”. And real BBQ fans can’t help but think “Texas!” and “wood burning!” and … well… “fun!”, so that’s what we decided to do. At 317 BBQ, we take a Hoosier approach to Texas-style barbecue by offering all your favorite side dishes paired with real, hard-wood smoked barbecue. For now, we are carryout & delivery only; however, this spring, we will provide the perfect atmosphere for the entire community to come and experience scratch cooked food, craft beer and the connection we’ve so sorely missed during COVID.

Based on 347 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.6 stars. Price $$

Everything we had was good, but menu is limited as is and a few things were unavailable on top of that. That said, cannot recommend the burnt ends enough!

The staff here was SO friendly and helpful. I didn’t realize they came to the tables, i thought you ordered at the counter but our server was great, he checked on us a lot. we got so much food. it costs a little more than maybe i expected but you get so much food, we got the meal that was meant for 2-3 people and it could have easily fed 4 people. you get plenty of whatever meat you decide and tons of sides. amazing food!!

I’m a pretty big BBQ addict, and I recently heard about 317 BBQ. So I decided to see if this joint would be up there on my list.

Great BBQ and good space. I love that the brewery is next door and you can just go grab a beer to pair with your meal. The BBQ Mac and cheese was great! Bigger portion than I expected too. I’ll be coming back for more!

Was our first time there. Food was really good. Had brisket sandwich, French fries, baked beans. Wife had pulled chicken baked potato and corn bread. The deviled egg appetizer was really good just a little too much horseradish for my taste but I would eat them again.

Visited the first time for lunch with some Co workers. We had the deviled eggs for a appetizer and they were very good. I would definitely recommend trying them. I had a brisket sandwich with Mac and cheese and potatoe salad. The potato salad was deviled and had horseradish in it which isn’t my favorite, but the Mac n cheese was very good. The brisket had great flavor and was very tender. My only complaint about the brisket is that it was chopped into very small pieces and it made it difficult to eat. I’ll be back to try some of the other items.

Doing a remodel so only a 3. We had Chili, pulled pork, fall off the bone ribs, nachos, brisket all good because I grazed off my adult children’s plates. The smoked meats flavorful. Checked out smoker, chief was happy with the job and product he made. OH potato salad was great took some home! Tap beers good but a wheat Hefeweizen would be a good addition as a lighter beer.

Centerpoint opened in the back of 317 BBQ. Good beer and location. Big area for being outside or having events. Kid and dog friendly!

We got invited out to see a friend place an acoustic show at 317 BBQ in Broad Ripple. Parking on a Friday night in that part of town is ridiculous honestly. We paid to park about 2 blocks away. They do have their own parking lot but it was full.

They start out with a high quality beef AND they cook it well. This BBQ pulled pork is so good, it’s a stand alone meal. Any bun you use will lessen the experience. Though I ordered a toasted bun for my son for only a dollar. This was an extremely satisfying meal.
