We sat outside surrounded by beautiful gardens and we could even see horses across the street. Service was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was just as amazing – our favorite appetizer was the scallops, cooked perfectly! They host smaller events (not large weddings at this time at least) and were very helpful with providing info

This is a new find for us after coming to the area for many years.

They renovated the old Jamesport Manor Inn, but everything else is the same. Food was OK and service poor. We asked for the potato skins and asked for no bacon and they weren’t able to do that. My suspicion is that they are pre-made and sitting around. We did get the shrimp cocktail which was way over cooked and came with cocktail sauce and mayo. The pasta was definitely homemade but came out barely warm. My husband had the cod that was over cooked and the fennel flavorless. The servers were wearing jeans and a flannel shirt. Maybe that’s the uniform? And, the service was lacking. Won’t be back. Wanted to like it so much. Oh well.

I tried to cancel my reservation 23 hours before it was set for. Chef owner Chris Kar informed me I would be charged $100 for my cancellation. I have never in all my years of making reservations been charged a no show fee. This is an insane and unfair. I had a death in my family and could not make this dinner. I will never dine here again besides the fact that their food is mediocre at best and taste all the same. If you want bland food and poor service this place is right for you. Save your money and your time and don’t eat here. There are plenty of better restaurants on the north fork.

Had a great dinner. The menu has alot of vegetarian meals. The view of the lovely garden surrounding the restaurant is exquisite. Going there again soon.

The Caesar salad was reinvented, and not for the better: the dressing was anything but Caesar, no croutons, “fried” anchovies, seriously? Bib lettuce?? Even stranger.. very disappointed. A staple that does not need reinventing!

Dress to impress . Service was amazing and their appetizers to die for. They offer a great selection of wines, including local picks. Prices

Lovely surroundings; Friendly dine-in service; good food, if a bit bland; Cocktail: Manhattan was disappointing after two attempts to get it right. Overall very pleasant.

Jamesport Manor is just next door to the Dilberto winery (excellent, fun place) and just up the road a piece from one of my other favorite restaurants, the Jedediah Hawkins Inn. The Jamesport Manor Inn however unlike Jedediah Hawkins it is a restaurant only, with currently no rooms to let. I have dined here several times, all for lunch, and the food has been consistently delicious. As is my habit I order one of the specials of the day and today was no exception. Today was a beautiful asparagus bisque, and for the main entree, a good sized portion of Salmon complimented with a creamy aioli. The Jamesport Manor is an excellent place for a quiet lunch with friends as you don’t have to shout over the room din that is very common in many restaurants. The service was pleasant and attentive, the food served at the pace we were expecting. The menu has a good selection of options that I would describe as American, a range reflecting the influence of many cultures, undoubtedly with a unifying North Fork overtone. The pictures do not do the atmosphere justice as it was a rainy, cloudy day and as such the side patio was not yet open. I look forward to returning here both as a pre winery tour lunch as well as a post winery tour dinner.
