We went for their soft open at the Washington Heights/Uptown Crossing location.. Decent space and nice people were working. They have a few stools in front of each window for seating. Taking your food down to Vennture and grabbing a beer/coffee is also an option. There are some drinks in the cooler. We both got brisket 1 meat dinners. The greens are only available on the weekends. Sides pictured are mqc n cheese, dirty rice and potato salad

I am a macaroni connoisseur, and it always disappoints me when barbecue places don’t nail the sides. They put hours into smoking the meat and for me the sides always lack “oomph”. The macaroni had this cheesy “peppery” taste that was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted, I wasn’t a fan of it. The candied yams were so sweet I felt like I was getting the “sugas” as the older people would say. The brisket itself was good, had smoke rings and everything but wasn’t as tender as I would have like it to been. However the flavor was there, so it’s a small win for me. The service was good so that made up for the sub par tasting sides. I would go back if I really, really had a taste for brisket and couldn’t one make it or two get it from a Metro Market that also smokes/grills brisket.

I had a taste for barbecue so I decided to try this place out. I ordered the “Mosley” which is 1.5lbs of meat & 2 pints of sides & bread. Brisket & rib tips was my meats & Macaroni and cheese, greens & sweet potatoes was my sides. The brisket is decent but dry the ribs are flavorless with paprika on it. The macaroni is made with penne noodles & jalapeño nacho cheese. The greens had no flavor & the sweet potatoes was probably the best. I wanted some dessert so I ordered the banana pudding which was bland. I spent about $60 for all of my food which was not worth it at all.

I got the “Joe” which consists of 3 meat choices and 3 sides. I got double TIPS and subbed one meat for ribs which was a $5 up charge. My family said the meat hands down was 5 stars! The seasoning, tenderness, smokiness, and charring were all A++! For sides I got dirty rice – the seasoning was really good but the rice was a little softer than I like (I’m a texture person). The Mac was basic it needs a little work but my son loved it because it was cheesy. I think the family agreed the coleslaw was the star of the sides. Even those that typically don’t like coleslaw. Last but definitely not least, customer service, top tier! This was my first time trying this place so I asked a few questions and Vincent was nice about answering and even giving me info on certain items. He even let me sample a piece of the turkey tips and I’ll be getting those next time. Would I go again, yes!

Fast and friendly service, at 3:00pm on a week day-what I wanted was sold out so I ordered a rib dinner with two sides and jalapeño corn bread. The ribs were meaty and seasoned well. The meat came easily off the bone and was delicious. The meat was so good, I had to think about whether or not I wanted sauce on my ribs. Well after eating two bones, I said what the heck and tried. They provided two different types of sauces-sauces were just okay-just a little too sweet.

I bought the rib tips, nice a meaty. A tad bit salty but otherwise very good. Sauce is sweet and smoky (there’s an underlying taste I caught. I can almost figure out what it is. It really perks the sauce up). I will visit again very soon.

We were finally able to make it down to Heaven’s Table BBQ and it was great! Fast, friendly service and the food was great. I was in and out in around 15 minutes and they also have seating for a couple of groups. Their setup is really cool and you can see the fresh meet while deciding what to select and watch them cut and prepare your dish right in front of you. I went with the Sherman bowl with rice and it was great! I can’t wait to go back and try their other options. Enjoy local!

Amazing meats. Great folks. And they have daily specials and breakfasts. The smoked salmon on Fridays is… I buy two. Do I need to eat two? No. Is it probably good for me? Also no. Do I do it anyway because they’re just that stupidly good? Yes.

Very good Smokey flavored brisket because it IS smoked! I am not a big fat person when it come to my beef but I ate every morsel of my brisket. Would definitely eat here again.
