We dined in on Memorial Day in the middle of the afternoon. There were only a few other tables so the service was great. Our food came out pretty quick and was really delicious. There are a handful of tables outside if you like outdoor dining. We will definitely dine in again.

Margaritas were nicely balanced with the right amount of alcohol. Very tasty. The food was delicious we had chile relleno which the cheese melted so creamy. The pork Verde burrito was spot on with flavor, next time I’d ask for a little more Verde sauce over the top. The salsa and chips were fresh, ask for the hot and made our own mixture between the reg Salas and the hot…it was perfect.

Staff is great, atmosphere is great, but food is just not there. Enchiladas were barely full and when cut into them just 2-3 long strings of onions, a big cut tomato and a little chicken. Had zero flavor. Drinks, chips and salsa would do again. Rest of food was lacking.

We really enjoyed our food here. My daughter had great looking Chimichangas. I had a huge pile of meat in my fajitas. They were awesome and a good value. Service was attentive and the food came out quickly. Definitely returning when I go back to Oxford!

A new waiter tonight- Victor. I watched his co-workers help him learn the ropes. I’ve observed this many times over the years, I’ve been a crazy burrito since the day they opened- literally! It’s a well-oiled machine that Rico has created. Food is always good, service is great… and it’s a lively atmosphere. One other point… it’s always clean!

My husband and I love coming here and this has been our favorite Mexican restaurant for years. The staff are amazing and very attentive, even during graduation weekend and other super busy times. Our favorite menus items are the burritos, but I would recommend almost anything off the menu. It is all that good.

Came here after graduation at Miami University. Their grilled chicken is my favorite. No weird shredded chicken will work for me, so I love their whole pieces of well flavored chicken. Chips and salsa are super good, so is the guacamole! Had to ask multiple times for more salsa and chips and napkins for our party of 8. Not sure why they are so stingy on the napkins. With only 2 baskets of chips and 2 bowls, everyone was dripping to get it to their mouth lol! When they finally brought napkins there were only 6 of them smh. The food came out super fast. Restrooms were clean, although the toilet seat was broken (totally off the hinges) and the sink was full of water. I informed a worker at the office looking area, and he thanked me for letting them know about the sink. Place was busy but still able to hear conversations at the table which was a big plus! We prefer this Mexican restaurant to another well-known one in Oxford. Quality of food is just better here.

Grabbed a quick bite to eat at El Burrito Loco, very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The food and service was 10/10. Will definitely come back for dinner.
