From the outside it’s definitely a truck stop but in the inside the food is definitely good. Thank you Fred and his brother for making this place a success. For some reason pancakes taste better when somebody else is cooking them! But I’ve never had a bad hot cake from Fred’s place and now they’re starting to serve pumpkin pancakes which he gave me a sample of one today and it was delicious!

Amazing food. The outside may not be appealing, but the inside is clean and great food. ~$10 for 3 pancakes, 3 eggs, 3 sausage patties is tastier than any Waffle House. Yeah I said it.

Very nostalgic old school.diner feeling everytime I come here. Food is great and service is as well. I hear people complaining about prices but inflation has been across the board in the food industry. I say if you don’t want to spend the extra money for good quality service and food then stay home and cook it yourself!

The prices are INSANE! For a dump like this… where windows are broken and have duct tape on them and no paved parking lot… a omelet is $14. NO way. Plus you are basically in the kitchen. You walk out smelling like whatever they cooked. Elmhurst needs to condemn this eye sore! Windows are dirty… EVERYTHING is dirty here. I feel like I ate a Victory Auto wreckers! And again… its EXPENSIVE!
