The -H- is the registered cattle brand for Canadian Valley Ranch, our family-owned ranch located in Seminole, OK. The brand spelled out is Bar H Bar and has been used in the Hefner family ranching operations for over 50 years. Our ranching operations are headquartered North of Seminole, OK on I-40. We are a cow/calf ranching operation with a herd of approximately 750 cows. We run a natural beef program that provides source-verified beef that is hormone and antibiotic-free. Our family is very proud of our history, and we look forward to sharing our Brand with you.

It is a good-looking building inside and out as well as inviting. The food looked and tasted outstanding. All the food has a unique taste to it, but it is absolutely the best food I have ever tasted across the board. The pork chop, steak, fried green tomatoes, chips, and queso Everything. Brian was our waiter, and he was fantastic. I will be back without hesitation, and hopefully, we get Brian again. The prices were also very good. I visited several times before leaving a review, but seriously, this is a great place to eat. I’ve never had bad food or service. It’s never hectic busy, so it’s easy to get a table quickly. The snakebites are top notch! Reasonably priced for the look and atmosphere. It appears to be an expensive steak house, but it’s actually reasonably priced compared to other places in town. They have a room that can be rented, as well. Overall, definitely recommend!

Ended up here as most places were closed without power. Walked in and my expectations plummeted as I looked around and saw how boring and generic the place is. That’s the worst I can say. Absolutely delightful waitress. Ordered a cheap steak not expecting much. Out came one of the most beautiful steaks I’ve had the pleasure to gaze upon. I was expecting to be disappointed when I took my first bite. Nope, it was delicious!! Look forward to my next trip to Shawnee.

We enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration at Bar H Bar. The staff was great and the generous portions of food were affordable and delicious. Everyone was happy with their meal. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was cozy. Our waitress was fabulous! 🙂

Guess I caught the cook on a bad night. Potato was cold, mentioned it to the sweet waitress who brought out another side, but the cook apparently got offended and wanted to see the potato. My ribeye was half gristle. Family said the chicken fried steak was good. I’ve been told the food is better when the owners are here. The five times I’ve tried, I’ve apparently missed them.

Well, we knew it would be a wait since it was a holiday, but we arrived around 12:30 and got our food at 3:30. We were told it would only be 30 minutes, but if we knew it would be longer we would have appreciated the straightforward answer and found a new lunch spot. Our food was okay, but not worth the wait. Our server was kind and helpful, though!
