The fries are worth your cheat day! This is a lovely spot with cool, urban feel. The wait staff was very friendly and we got a nice, surprise note with our receipt. The Reuben, chicken strips, key lime pie!

First time at LeTara, service was excellent, French Dip is in the top 3 I’ve had and I really enjoyed the skin on hand cut fries. Wife had the fish tacos which was as a build your own plate style with a large portion of grilled fish, coleslaw rice and beans. We started with the Nachos and ended with a Carmel Maccaito coffee to go, both very good. Yes the place is a little pricey for a small town restaurant but sitting on the bay in any major costal town this quality restaurant would be what it is, a little gem. We will be back for a steak or sea food evening meal very soon.

Edit to add: I’d say one of the gripes I have is the service. They’re lovely folks but it’s not very busy during their happy hour and while I’ll sit at the bar, it takes them roughly 20 minutes (actually ran a timer on the phone) to check in on the last “everything OK?” peek around the corner. If someone is sitting there with a half drink, check in more often. That’s how you *make money*.

We had the roasted chicken salad and the steak salad tonight with a bottle of Beringer White Zinfandel, our total was $66. Service and food was great. Love the quiet, roomy atmosphere and the professionalism of the staff. Just wish that the wine choices were less expensive since I can get the bottle we ordered tonight for $4 at Total Wine & Spirits!

We needed to celebrate Father’s Day on Thursday instead of Sunday, and while I’ve been wanting to try LeTara, I was a bit leary after reading so many mixed reviews. But the restaurant intrigued me, so I decided what the heck! The service was a bit slow, but on our side of the restaurant the bartender Luis seemed to be the only server for about eight groups. But he remained very friendly and professional.
