Overall the food was made fresh and I took home (about 5 minutes away) and was still hot. The fried rice was very simple, yet bland. I added the (yum yum) sauce to it but the sauce ruined it due to not being like any other sauce I’ve had over the years, it was very off. The chicken and shrimp had zero seasoning but were cooked right, along with the veggies. Overall there are other expresses around I’ll try before coming back. The service was fast and efficient for a healthy dinner, just very average and bland across the board.

I’ve been coming here for years and every time they have new rules when it comes to their eel sauce or white sauce. New rules when it comes to their meals. Why would you get over on people who coming to spend money with your business. Oh yea, and they offer tea on the menu, but never have it now as well.

It was ok, decent take and eat, there was a misunderstanding in what exactly got ordered but I will humbly blame myself for not being clear. Service was quick, meat was cooked fresh and was best part of the meal. The rice was ok, par boiled not long grain so not to the quality I expect from hibachi express or not. The shushi was better then some but not my favorite, we didn’t eat all of it as some became warm on the drive home and call us crazy neither adult is good with eating shushi warm that we know should be cold. Price is better then you sit down show hibachi by over a third. So we would go back becuse of convenience but pass on cold sushi.

This place permanently raised my expectations for any restaurant with “Express” in the name. I ended up coming twice for lunch during World Series week to grab a hibachi bowl + a roll of sushi. Flavorful and filling options all over the menu. It’s quite busy at peak lunch time so make sure you order ahead!

Good presentation, but food had no taste. We try hibachi chicken and steak, avocado roll, salmon avocado roll and hibachi steak and none of it have any flavor meat was dry.
