Beyond met my expectations and experience- been waiting to try this place for a long-time and so happy finally got there – food was so perfect and the owner is so fun and it was cool to see his excitement at our excitement about his food – the family stories he told just made the day and tip try the ice tea with your amazing barbecue and sides. Nailed it! I’m a mostly vegetarian so I ordered the Arcata sandwich with beans and Mac and cheese. The Murphy sauce (orange bottle) was a great addition. Bun was fresh, collard greens were savory, sweet potatoe veggie base was sweet and added meaty texture

GREAT BBQ! What a great find! Inside it’s an awesome eclectic environment that is just fun to be around! The staff is very friendly and happy to answer any questions about the menu. Did I mention great BBQ? Outdoor dog friendly patio. Competitive prices and a bar upstairs. I would highly recommend stopping by and eating here. Be sure to ask the awesome owner the great story about the historic “Spruce Goose’ 5 stars all day, Buckshot Honey all day!

Stopped in with cousin and his wife after visiting the Falls. We each had something different and it was all excellent. I had the Uncle Phil with beans and collard greens as my side. Brisket was wonderful and the greens were cooked to a T. We had a great visit with our cousins and visited with the owner some as well. Can’t recommend this highly enough, excellent food, great atmosphere in the upstairs of an old bank building and wonderful owner and staff.

Dave and his team put the heart back into a wonderful and fun dinning experience. The flavors exceeded my high expectations. The brisket was very moist and flavorful. The beans are to be remembered. The coleslaw had a special touch. The atmosphere is special and unique. The drink selections are a great match for my tastes. IPA, Cider, Sours,…. I’m coming back.

This place is super great! Two Texans ate here and loved it. I am from the West Coast and probably the best brisket I have ever had. Also best secret hot sauce! Dave, the owner, is super nice as well. Some dog friendly seating outside, which is always a plus. We didn’t get pics of the food because we ate it so fast.
