I was actually very surprised. I haven’t been to a Steak ‘n Shake in years, and I had forgotten how much I loved them. It was so good I forgot pictures of the food! When we walked in, we were greeted by a polite young man who showed us how to order. You order on screen now yourself. The restaurant was very clean. Good music. Fun atmosphere from the 50s, like a diner feel. A claw machine. You pour your own drinks. The milkshakes looked so good, but I was too full to get one, so I’ll be back! Drive thru was rocking, but the food came out hot and fresh and in a timely manner. Great job! We went on Sunday late afternoon around 5.

Self Kiosk for order but easy enough to use, Ben manager was amazing. He brought us our food and shakes and was very helpful if we needed anything. I also noticed him doing extras and not just standing around like most managers at these places. Food was good and overall service was great.

I have never been to a Steak n’ Shake I didn’t like, but this one… I LOVED. I don’t know who was greeting customers at the door but they were amazing; kind, patient, and helpful. Even when a customer was rude to them, they carried on happily making sure everyone was doing well.

My family and I stopped in for lunch today and we were pleasantly surprised. We were immediately greeted by Ben who advised us of our ordering options and offered help with the process if needed. After ordering our food we watched as Ben made his way around the restaurant greeting guests, cleaning tables and running milk shakes to different tables. This guy is a real asset, it’s been awhile since I’ve come into contact with someone so happy and genuine. The food was delicious and affordable. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon.

So very sad to say this was the last chance for Steak n Shake. They have changed everything. You must order from a kiosk for your order, then you wait to be called and the food was not the quality it used to be. That was the nice thing about Steak n Shake you could depend on great service and food, not anymore. While dining another diner had been given the wrong order on their tray the staff came out with a new tray and took the other tray, the manager took the burger off the tray wrapped and gave it to a drive through order, I was shocked. Who knows how it was touched or how long ago it was served. I had a bowl of chili and it was presented in a paper to go cup, I said something and they said this is the “new” bowl size now. I had to ask for crackers. The fries were good and hot, the milk shakes were tasty but sadly the portions are smaller and the chili seemed watered down. We will not go back again. Do not waste your money.

I used to enjoy going to this place when they had the waitress /waiters and the quality of the burgers were so much better. Since the changes, after the pandemic, food sucks and atmosphere is dingy! Sorry but truth ia the truth. So disappointing!!!!!

It’s been awhile since we were here. No more friendly staff…kiosk messes up your order….our shakes were not special any more. They put them at the pickup counter, somebody else took them….ugh. Waiting for our name to be called….we did take out…food was okay….ff always good….it’s not like it used to be. I miss the eat at counter and the smiles of waiters and waitresses. Your establishment might as well like as a Checkers.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review on any restaurant let alone a fast food chain but I have to this time. This was by far the best experience I’ve had at any fast food restaurant, as soon as I came in, man at the door greeted me with enthusiasm , he also assured all customers were helped and satisfied. Then the FOOD. This burger looked amazing and tasted better. The chef working the grille is an artist. I wish I didn’t live an hour away or I’d be here every other day . Amazing

So my order was taken by a very friendly server. When I pulled thru the drive thru and got to the window the whole computer crashed. No fault of the worker. It took a while to fix but he was very apologetic and friendly.
