The brisket could be a lot better. It has a real smokey and woody smell which I liked. The bbq sauce was bad they need a better one for the bbq. The green beans however was the best thing on the plate.

Virginia, the cashier is very racist. I went to pick up an order for my elderly grandparents shortly after calling 10 minutes prior to ask if the order was ready & I was told it was. I gave the name on the order and told her what was in the order and she walked away and ignored me as I was talking. As I stood there waiting for someone to help the meat butcher came and finally offered to help After waiting 15-20 minutes. Finally they handed me a pan that had my order with no bag, bbq sauce or anything. I am very Disappointed in this experience I had at this establishment today and would not recommend it to anyone. I hope management can redirect the customer service of their cashier as she is a very poor representation of the company.

Although I’m not a big brisket fan, I always judge the quality of BBQ restaurants by their brisket. Many, many times BBQ joints have hard dry brisket. Not at Skeets! I didn’t even need a knife. I ordered the 2 combo plate with brisket, sausage, potato salad, and mac and cheese. There wasn’t a spec of food left on my plate when I was done. Prices were very reasonable as well! You can’t go wrong with Skeets!

The chop beef sandwich is alright, the meat is a little undercooked and no flavor. I don’t know what kind of bun they use but there are some small grains on the outside of the bun and I don’t like it. Plain bun will do much better. The barbecue sauce is a no go please change it.

Customer service was terrible. Person cutting the meat wasn’t helpful and the lady helping with sides was rude. Cashier was sweet and polite and double checked our order was correct. Won’t return here because of the first two.

The coleslaw was warm and I wasn’t expecting that…I thought it would be cold. The Turkey breast was dry/thick it almost tasted like the deli sandwich except meat was thick. It’s just not the Turkey breast meat you expect from a bbq place. I expected a smoked Turkey breast that’s moist and this wasn’t it. I’m very disappointed. I had to drown my meat in hot sauce to finish it.

I had never been to this place but Saturday I was doing some shopping with my kids. Decided to give them a try. The food was good but the customer service was horrible. I asked questions about the menu and the man was very rude about it. NEVER going back!

It’s been over 10 years now since I last had a stuffed potato at Skeets. I miss going there regularly. I just want to say that this was at the top of my list of favorite BBQ’s and there are many places I have been too in my travels. Whenever I have a hankering for BBQ I always remember the good food here.

No welcome or direction or hello when I walked in. I wanted a sandwich and after I found the counter they silently stared at me while I looked at the menu. He visibly winced at my order. I ordered peach cobbler. You pick your your own from containers you can’t see through. When I ordered it the man behind the counter too two containers to the back. I took the one closest to me because my mama taught me that was the polite thing. I got it back to my room and the cobbler had one peach slice in the whole thing. I had a container of breading that didn’t even have any sauce on it too make it remotely palatable. It’s not Austin or Lockhart but damn! The q was tender and good. Still won’t be going back. It was traumatizing.
