Someone in our group use to eat here many years ago and we decided to check out this legendary restaurant. Can’t beat the prices. Our waitress was welcoming and helpful. Food was definitely filling. We couldn’t even think about getting dessert. For me personally I wasn’t thrilled with the butter or oil that my food was sitting on but others were thrilled.

This is one of the best “real” places I have been to for dinner. I do much traveling and this will be remembered by me as one of the most original restaurants I have ever eaten at. I had the catfish (no muddy taste at all). The topper to this place is “Flow & Bob” — SO welcoming and real. Places like this are disappearing fast and so glad I came here.

Loved this place! Steak was cooked perfectly and the green beans were home cooked yum. My husband had an enormous baked potato served with his meal. We were seated immediately. No waiting in a line. Will definitely eat there again when we return to the area.

OK. I really wanted it to be better. Staff was friendly and attentive. I observed several other people coming in and asking for specific tables, which they accommodated. Food was average. The steak fries were plain slices of potatoes with no seasoning.

Travel for work and had my birthday dinner here tonight. The portions were huge and price wasn’t bad either. T-bone was cooked perfectly and flavorful. The fried mushrooms were delicious and the blackberry cobbler was fantastic.

Actually everything was kind of under whelming. It was okay at best, I love the idea of old school restaurants, but the reality of it is, we can not recommend this establishment. I would add our server was very nice.
