Kim is very ornery and could use some lessons on hospitality. Service is miserable at best. Restaurant has a weird odor to it. Food was OK, but they garnish so heavily with cilantro it’s difficult to taste the actual food. Spent half my time dining in just picking off the cilantro. Overall, would not come again, vast improvements on service would need to happen first.

The food was very good. My friend has been coming here a long time. I remember going to her restaurant when she had the space in the grocery store. The lady that served us was the owner and she’s so cute lol. We ordered volcano ck, papya salad, pad see ew, and red curry. All very good.

We are from Caledonia and our favorite Thai restaurant in Racine closed. In looking for Thai restaurants within reasonable driving distance from our home, we found Kim’s Thai. Kim’s was the only one that has all of our favorite dishes from our old favorite Thai place, and we decided to give it a try tonight. We ordered for carryout and got all of our favorites so we could compare to our old place. Everything was ready when we got there. We noted that the small seating area was clean, bright, and welcoming. When we got home with our food, everything was perfect. We were happy with the amount of food, the price, and the quality of the food. Everything was absolutely delicious! We will for sure be visiting Kim’s Thai again. It’s a 20 to 30 minute drive for us depending on traffic, but totally worth it!

I got a recommendation to try this place from my little brother because his friend loves it. We walked in & were immediately greeted by such a sweet woman who told us to sit wherever we’d like. I ordered the crab Rangoon for an appetizer & they were the freshest crab Rangoon’s I’ve ever eaten. The sauce they were paired with was phenomenal as well. You could just tell everything was homemade/made fresh. My boyfriend ordered the spring rolls which weren’t what he was expecting (he thought they’d be fried) but they were still good. I ordered the volcano chicken which was so tasty & fresh. It smelled amazing once it was put in front of me. My boyfriend’s entree was called chicken peanut sauce, it was sweeter than he thought it would be but still good. I was very happy with both of my dishes & will for sure go back!!! The service was great too!

Who needs atmosphere when the food is this dang good! There are plenty of choices, even for picky eaters. It was hard to choose but ultimately went for the yellow curry. Amazing flavor profile. We WILL be back!

LOVED! First time having thai food and man was it good! I started with something simple vegetable fried rice and orange chicken. The sauce came on the side of chicken so not soggy. Vegetables in rice was crazy…so many different vegetables, broccoli, green beans, green peppers, onions..I cant remember all of them. Tons of flavor! Don’t know why I waited so long to try Thai food. Thank you Kim’s Thai for your great service & food! I will be back very soon!
