Zero starts if I could. On 11/29/2021 I went for lunch with my wife around 12:15 pm and I have the worst experience ever. First, the 2 girls upfront were so rude and on a rush to finish with me. I ended up getting a wrong item in my wife plate which she is allergic to. The spring rolls and the rice were so old . Pls throw away your old food and don’t tell your customers it’s old and I have to wait to make fresh one. Bottom line I threw away $25 in a garbage.

I tried to have lunch there today at 3pm with my Family and the girl serving was so rude I want. I agree with the other reviews. It wasn’t even busy and they were rushing me to do my order fast. Also the rice and noodle was poorly served. Worst panda I ever been.

The orange chicken was hard as rock. Noodles and rice not freshly cooked. Worst Panda Express experience.

I’ve been with panda Express though it all, the highs and the lows. Stayed loyal even through some stale chow mein and dry orange chicken. But let me tell you.. this location has NEVER disappointed. The Irvine spectrum panda express is the greatest location by a mile. I’ve been a customer at a plethora of locations but those are just your typical panda express locations. This place here is SPECIAL. The food is always warm, tasty, and elite in quality compared to the others. Every time I get the orange chicken here I feel like they put crack in it, that’s how addicting it is. I can smell the color orange as soon as I open the tray. This location is quintessentialy heaven, and I hope the little angels cooking up my orange chicken and chow mein at the spectrum are blessed with good fortune for the rest of their lives. Other locations should look at this place for inspiration of what panda express should be.

I ordered a few plates for my family to go. I decided to wait for fresh veggies because the last scoop looked old. So because I was waiting anyway, I asked if I could wait for fresh Rangoons, because the ones they had sitting there looked old and dried out and way over cooked. I waited for a really long time and finally she called me up with my bag all tied up and ready to go and said have a good night. I decided to step off to the side just to make sure everything was there. I discovered that the Rangoons weren’t in there. I went back up and and told her my Rangoons weren’t in there. She said oh well they are still making those. So I said ok, well, were you going to tell me my order was still missing something? I was just about to leave! So she said did you still want the Rangoons and I said yes I paid for them already but now I’m running out of time. She said they are making them now. So I waited a few more minutes and it looked like they were just starting the fresh batch, so then I tried offering alternatives, I said I’d take a small side of orange chicken instead because I needed to go. She said she would go check on the status. She came and said still another minute. At this point I had already been waiting a really long time so I don’t do this often, but I decided to make a complaint and ask for some sort of compensation for their mistake. I would have driven all the way home with part of my order missing. I said I’d take a small side of orange chicken for my time. She said she’d ask her manager. So I waited some more since I was still waiting for those damn Rangoons anyway. I saw her talk with the manager and point at the old Rangoons. She came back to me and said they can’t give me an extra order of chicken because of the price difference but they would throw in an extra order of Rangoons for the wait. I said fine, I’ll take what I can get. So after a few more minutes she came out with two small orders of rangoons. I thanked them, threw them in the bag and rushed home to my family. When I got to the car, I checked the Rangoons and realized that they had given me 2 orders of the OLD Rangoons. I mean what a slap in the face! After all that, I didn’t even get the fresh ones I waited it for. They were dried out and burned. But it’s the principle of the matter that upset me. That’s why I am making this complaint and giving them the bad review. I feel like they knowingly gave me the old ones because I actually spoke my opinion and called them out on their mistake. I was also very upset that not a single one of them apologized to me. I work in customer service so I know how to recognize good customer service, and that was not it. I never raised my voice or said anything mean to them. I was calm and reasonable because they were busy and I know how things work. But come on Panda, get your act together, what your employees did me was rude.

Service is pretty quick and we wanted something fast. Staff kept the line moving despite the long line. This location has the beyond orange chicken (plant based) and I decided to try it. It definitely doesn’t taste like orange chicken….It’s not as sweet and it’s a little harder than the orange chicken. Nothing will ever replace orange chicken. I’m glad I tried it though.

One of the worst Panda centers I have been to, that too in a place like Spectrum. Both the fried rice and noodles were poorly cooked and the service was sub par where they missed items.

I think it is OK quality for fast food. Beef, shrimp are good. orange chicken is not bad.

The food remains tasty and the staff are polite. However, the availability of their menu items at this location is inconsistent and frequently popular menu items aren’t available. Portion servings tend to be on the small side, and one wonders if Panda has once again decreased the size of their meal containers (a disingenuous move they made they did a few years ago…a reduction arguably designed to deceive customers). This might have been understandable had price increases been nominal, but they’ve risen significantly. None of this would be bothersome if the company was obviously transparent in communicating reasons for higher prices and smaller portions, but I haven’t seen this. If you want fast Chinese food, Panda is remains a viable option, but if you just want something to fill you up, you’ll get roughly the same amount of food for $4 less across the sidewalk at Chipotle.
