Always on the lookout for more affordable omakase! We landed on Toyama today since we were already in the neighborhood. We ordered their soft shell crab, oyster lovers, and omakase (2). The soft shell crab could’ve been better. They place it on top of the salad which resulted in some cross contamination with the dressing. The oyster lovers was a good deal! It came with 3 oysters with uni on top. We highly recommend eating it separately to get the best of both worlds. I ate them all together and the oysters overpowered the uni. The omakase took about 30 minutes and included a bonus abalone. I think their omakase is pretty good bang for your bucks at $50. The long cut of fish reminded us a bit of amami.

To go here and not sit at the sushi bar would be a shame. Great lunch with great recommendations from the owner/ sushi chef. Can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend. Fantastic otorro, specialty rolls, and wild tai.

It’s evident that the chef takes pride in their job! Elegantly presented and tasted so good that I’m salivating just thinking about those rolls! The waitress was kind and attentive, I’d definitely swing by on my next visit!

There are lots of great choices for sushi in the inner Richmond district and this is one of the best.

Got the omakase here which was very good. And the price was good too for an omakase. The variety was great and service was nice. We also got two rolls the mount Fuji and I think the double hamachi roll. I liked them both, we asked the server for recommendations on the rolls and just ordered what she recommended. The hamachi kama was good too.

Sushi is very ok here. Every roll tastes the same and they only would bring one roll at a time. Every roll has very little sushi rolls for the price. Service is poor — hard to get the server and no one checks up on the table. Very eh place

Great ambiance & friendly staff. Food was not only good presentation, portions, but tasted good. I appreciate that it isnt overly salty or sweet compared to many places. A bit sad that we didn’t get our lion king and instead got king kong which was still good.. Probably misheard our order so will be back next time to try it.
