The food was good and Miss Rosa was very very nice. The place was cleaned promptly after each visitor left. There’s a good menu to choose from and the portion size are enough to fill you up. They are not a lot of seats but still plenty of to be comfortable. Miss Rosa took my order and checked on me multiple times while I was enjoying my meal. She is pictured in the photos that I uploaded. If you like this type of food I believe you would enjoy this restaurant very much. There is a choice between glass Coke and orange drinks in a bottle and several can options for soda. Several people bought juice that they make there.

Second time ever eating Latin cuisine. Shrimp was delicious and spicy. Chicken was tender and juicy. Yellow rice – perfect . Different take on the fries. Service was excellent. Large amount for your money. The owner came out to talk to us. Super nice and friendly lady. We will be coming back.

New spot. Maybe a year old now. I’ve been seeing it there but today decided to go and check it out. The menu is mostly BBQ stuff and on the wall. No physical menu to paruse, but they have some Caribbean options like plantanos, rice with pigeon peas, and empanadas. So probably more like Puerto Rican. The staff was super nice and I asked and they were from Jersey and are Puerto Rican. They have big portions on plates but sides are enough to satisfy a small hunger. We ate inside and it was small dining area but not busy so nice lunch and we almost ate all of it. We saved some for leftovers next day. Definitely worth a look see.

The beef short ribs were tough. I was hoping that this would be wonderful because it is one of those small businesses in a mostly closed strip mall and while sitting directly next to a tavern, the food was only okay. I like the imported glass bottle drinks. I was going to split the ribs, rice and french fries with my son but the ONLY thing he ate more than 1 bite of were the fries. I had higher hopes for this restaurant. It could have been cleaner and the best part was the cashier whose attitude was very bright and welcoming.

Came in on a Sunday and was able to order right. The young lady that took my order was friendly. The service was great food was hot and delicious. They even have a charcoal grill inside that they cook on. The price of the food is on par for taste and amount of food you get. The place is kinda small inside so you might have to wait for a table or just take it home.

My first time here I got the Half Chicken (that comes with white/yellow rice + fries). I got the yellow rice and subbed the fries for their red beans. My half chicken came out hot and quartered for easier inhalation as this is a FANTASTIC dish!!! I would tell EVERYONE to sub fries for their red beans because the beans pair well with the yellow rice. I added some of my rice to the beans to make sure I got all of that goodness. Also purchased the chicken empanadas (you get two) because that’s all she had. My ONLY regret is not having been here sooner. You’re missing out on an amazing, local, AUTHENTIC meal if you don’t come by here. This place is great!!!

I was raised on this food growing up in my family. I moved away many years ago though and I came here to introduce this food to my young boys, they Loved it!!!!! It’s my 12 year old’s favorite now and it is such a joy to have this Latin flavor in this area. Now I don’t have to wait until my trips to Florida to have this great food and along with great service. It will be like visiting family.
