Stopped in while moving our kid to NWOSU. Everything was great, service was beyond excellent. Had burgers, chicken strips and chicken salad with hand cut fries. Pepper Jack bites were amazing. Great little gem in the middle of nowhere. Will come back when we visit the kid. Thank you.

Fantastic place. Food was delicious although a bit salty for some in my party. Server was awesome. She was a delight and was so sweet to my kids. Really enjoyed our visit and will definitely go back again.

Was passing through and our driver knew this place so we stopped. Very unassuming you an miss it! The food was great. I got the Suzie fries. (Thank you!) and chicken fried steak and everything was super. My bill was very low as well. By the way the 1/2 fries are enough for 2! Highly recommend this stop.

This restaurant was just ok. It was recommended to us when my group was in Alva. In a group of 9 no one was really wowed by anything. The 3 of us had the brisket and we all agreed it was very salty. The barbecue sauce was ok, but the spicy version was not spicy at all. One of our guys had the ribs and he didn’t really like them or the onion rings that he got as sides. Many of us did like their hand cut fries and the service was very good even with a large group.

It’s been a while since we ate here so I dont know if they went downhill or just had a bad night. I really hate that they dont offer any other bread but wheat, being allergic to whole wheat its horrible when it touches the other stuff on the plate, what makes things worse is the waitress tried to tell me it was not whole wheat untill she asked the cook. We ordered 2 orders of the smoked brisket but they brought us was one order of ribs and one order of what looked like pulled pork calling it smoked brisket. There was only 4 tables that had anyone at it and one 8 seat double table that was not cleared off the whole time we where there. Nothing seemed to be as good as it once was and all the prices went up, it maybe a while before we go there again.

The food delicious, and the waitress was extremely sweet. The ribs were tender, and my husband’s barbeque sandwich was very good. The mushrooms were delicious, as well. The jars for drinks was probably my favorite part.

This was a great find! Not much in this town but they do have a great restaurant! Had Calf Fries for the start. Very good. The sauce was great not too salty. How cool was my Ice Tea in a Mason Jar?? The sausage I had tasted home made. It was great. The beans had a unique taste! I couldn’t stop eating them. My potato salad was the only thing that was just not to die for. It had something in it that was a little off to me. It just wasn’t made for me. The place was clean. Bathroom was taken care of also. I love that the kitchen is not behind closed door. Would most definitely recommend!!

Sweet tea was good. Potato salad was good. Baked beans were okay. The staff was very courteous. The dining area was very clean. The men’s bathroom was very clean. However, the ribs were what I was afraid of. This is my second trip in and both times I’ve yet to get what would appear to be fresh ribs. I know a restaurant can’t just throw food out, but that’s twice now on the ribs (my first trip in was a year or two back). Not pulling any punches, but it doesn’t take a professional to know those ribs weren’t real recent. As a side note, I’ve noticed they do not have pulled pork.
