The Corner – Pizza and Alehouse is bringing true New York style pizza to Iowa. The recipe for our pies has been in our family for over 40 years. Listen up… if you plan on eating here, you better invite me because this was the best pizza I’ve had pretty much EVER. These pizzas and slices are HUGE. Two slices and I was spent. And it heats up really well so I know what’s for tomorrow’s lunch! The staff here is uber courteous and not afraid to be personable so be friendly. What a find! I wish you all the best of luck in your new business!!!

Party of 2 visited on 3/4/23 between 2:15-2:45pm. Definitely need one or two more working the front end. The ordering process was a bit chaotic with not knowing if were suppose to wait at the table or go up to them so we just ended up ordering from the pickup window. Only 1 person working as bartender, hostess, cashier & server with approx. a dozen customers. Ordered 3 slices from the Jumbo ready made Combo pizza along with 1 pint of local craft beer & 1 soda; Bill came to almost $30. Pizza did taste good however.

By far some of the best pizza I have ever ate/tasted in my life!! This place never disappoints, plus the service is AMAZING!! Let’s just say the BIG DILL, hits different and their homemade ranch to top is off it’s indescribable!!

Wowza! Finally found a pizza place that does not use pre-made crust . Great pizza, fabulous hospitality. Shea has it going on! We’ll be back for more!

I have to say that the pizza is amazing! We love the full pickle ranch pizza. The way the cheese melts onto the pizza really holds in the pickles well and the ranch goes perfectly with it. I chose to give five stars because the pizza is truly amazing. I do have a few non taste related critiques. The first being is that it is literally freezing in the building for dine in. It made enjoying the experience difficult. Next time we will do order for pickup. The next issue is the paper plates and plastic silverware. It is next to impossible to cut the pizza up for toddler friendly bites. The third critique would be the silver rack thing they put the pizza on. If the pizza becomes unbalanced the whole pizza falls off the table and onto the floor. Since the tables are smaller I understand the principle behind the rack. All of those small issues can be solved by doing order pick up. Will definitely be ordering the pizza again because it’s amazing!

So me wanted a NY style pizza. Waited in line for about 10 min. No menus. You just get what they offer at the time.

The pizza was very good. When you order a pizza you may think that it’s expensive but that is a giant pizza. The guy who helped us was super nice. It is a thin crust pizza I had the 3 meat and Supreme with a ton of leftovers and I was eating with 2 teenagers. My daughter must of liked it cause when she got home she snagged more. We will definitely be back. My photo is not zoomed

It’s nice to see new pizza places here in mason but when you’re charging top dollar for a pizza you gonna get compared to the best. I might be in the minority but I feel they fell well below. There was nothing special about it and you can barely taste the ingredients on the pizza over what ever seasoning there using. Yes the size of the pizza is large but that’s not that big of a deal.

What’s up with all the flies? We were dining indoors, not on the patio. We couldn’t enjoy our pizza. So many flies trying to land on our pizza while we ate. Made for a lousy experience. We just wanted to get out of there.

Great first experience. Really neat atmosphere. Pizza was good. Very reasonable prices for by-the-slice purchase. Will visit again!
