We arrived in town around 7pm and wanted something small to eat. We went into Ortega’s and were greeted by a nice employee (sorry forgot her name). She gave us some suggestions and we ended up with Street Tacos which were really good! We had chips/salsa (again very good) and had a churro.

Some of the best burritos and authentic chips I’ve ever had! So glad we stopped in here after hiking at Keys Gap I’m the Appalachian Trail. If I’m back in the area, I’ll definitely stop by again.

Awesome food. Definitely will be back! Tried the Baja Fish taco on flour tortilla, and the Machaca and Caritas street tacos. All with their spicy salsa (could be a bit spicier, but they did have some hot sauce available that did the job).

The food is amazing and truly authentic. I’d have to travel back to California or Texas to find food this good. The owner is as nice and genuine as they come. I’d definitely recommend them. They’re my favorite!

First time at this place! I am so glad I tried it because the burrito I had was SO good! The lady that helped me at the register was very nice! The chips and queso was also very good! The only thing I wish they had was fountain drinks as they only had cans of soda and bottles of water to drink.

Great service and nice people. Took around 15 to 20 min to get my food which was a burrito and two tacos, while they were pretty busy. The food itself was delicious, both food types. Definitely a place to go to and back too.

Food definitely hits! Love the street tacos, and the chips are awesome. My daughter gets the chicken burrito every time. Finally, I tried the cinnamon crisps. Wow! Highly recommend as a sweet treat.

This place is amazing! When you think of a restaurant that when the food hits your tongue, you start happy dancing? That’s Ortega’s for me!! I am IN LOVE with their Baja Fish Tacos (hot). I could eat those EVERY. SINGLE. DAY! The Supreme nachos are top-level – always crunchy chips and enough toppings to ensure that no chip is bare. Everything on the menu is great – the ingredients are fresh, and the quality is always consistent. I fear the day that comes when I have to move away from the area because I’d want to take Ortega’s with me. Staff is always so friendly and helpful, and I’ve yet to have a bad experience there. Keep doing what you’re doing because it is the BEST FOOD (not just a taco shop) – BEST RESTAURANT in town!

Great location, right in the heart of downtown. Shares a space with Bushel and Peck so you can do grocery shopping while waiting for your order. Great staff. Great food especially the classic tacos, quesadillas. A reliable place!
