If you are expecting “typical” American Mexican salsa, this is not the place. The CHUNKY “pico” style sala is sweet and the green runny sauce is good (guessing tomatillo based?). Neither has any hint of heat. The margarita was just ok. Ordered chicken fajitas. Could not eat them. It tasted like they were cooked with shrimp or fish. The manager said they are cooked completely separate… Maybe just the seasoning? The manager was quick to bring out another dish! Their chips were definitely homemade. They were good. They do charge for more chips though… We wouldn’t not go again, but it would not be our 1st choice. The margarita seems a bit pricey.

Food is AMAZING. Servers are fast, courteous and attentive. Chips are made IN HOUSE. Salsa is sweet heat and verde is spicy and wonderful! Cerviche de camerones is exquisite.

Love this place. Moved down here from Chicago and struggled to find something to replace my hispanic families food. Found 7 Mares and nothings else tops it. You always feel welcomed, cared for, price is awesome, and of course the food is delicious!

One of my favorite Mexican restaurant in Columbia. So get soo much food for the price. I think it’s family owned. They greet you as soon as you walk in. There menu is huge… every thing taste soo fresh. They have the pineapple drink soo oo good. Check them out.

Great portions, cheaper and better tasting than local Mexican establishments. Drinks came out in seconds and food not much longer. Only downside is it’s in a strip mall and not very noticeable. You have to try for yourself. I’ll see you there. ***So after coming back several times I have now started tackling their traditional seafood menu. Wow the flavor of these dishes are heaven. Some of the dishes for 2 can be made for one and is a must try! Their soup base is some of the best seafood soup base I have ever had. Also try their charro beans. Yum!!!

We were excited to see there was a band setting up. But when they started playing it was too loud for the space. No issue with their music though, just too loud. However, the food made up for the music 100%. Huge portions, everything fresh and well seasoned. Kids ate everything, super pleased. And the wait staff were very kind and attentive. We will be back for sure and would still like there to be live music, .

Food was boarderline spoiled tasting. I had the garlic shrimp and after trying 3 pieces I couldn’t do anymore because it tasted sour. Bag salad that was brown! And let’s not forget to mention all the roach poop all over the baby changing station and nasty padding with the hand paper towels placed on top of it!!! Will not be returning and will tell all I can to not go there!! What a disappointment!! This place used to be amazing.
