To start. I was here 2 weeks ago. 4/18 to be exact. Absolutely HORRIBLE service. To begin, don’t rush people when they’re ordering, by magically predicting thier order because what will happen, is what happened to me- it’ll be wrong! Then, once at the other end, for people you’re giving YOUR MONEY too, the utter lack respect and interest in actually hearing what I’m asking for is nothing short of infuriating. Rude, unpleasant, disrespectful, and arrogant. Will absolutely never patronize this business again. Apparently, is common for them because other people were walking up telling me they gave the same problems! Disgusting! And my food was basic, at BEST!

So I guess I came on a good day judging from some of these reviews. I’m a big Philly cheesesteak fan and for what it’s worth, Charleys at Towsontowne Mall unexpectedly delivers as good a cheesesteak as anywhere outside Philadelphia. It’s not a true Philly style. There’s no whiz, and the onions in Philly cheesesteaks come through on their own flavor merit. But Charleys fresh subroll and perfectly cooked steaks (not overly greasy) do the job. Definitely will hit this spot when I’m back.

Was in the mall celebrating my daughter’s birthday when we stopped to eat, my daughter and I came to Charley’s and the individual behind the counter was on his phone and NEVER acknowledged me until I said hello and then he said what do you want? Smh from there he took my order and then asked was I done snapped his fingers at me and told me to hurry up! He was so very rude, and disrespectful! I asked to see a Manager and I guess he was cooking looked at me but never came over. I will NEVER eat at this location. Its sad to know that so many people want and need jobs but yet this grewone man could careless about his job or his customer service. I cannot believe he acted that way but the lady in front of us said he was rude to her also, just terrible.

Some of the most arrogant, dismissive employees I’ve ever seen. I tried to tell them my order and how I wanted it like 3 times and just kept asking me different questions about my meal. I was trying to explain what I wanted and they just kept dismissing me as if I said nothing. Never going back here. Thanks for letting me know what the Charleys experience is truly like.

Good cheese steak subs. The sub rolls are better than anyone in this area has. My only complaint is that they need a Plain menu option on the menu board. Steak/Cheese/Meat. Call it a NUMBER ZERO. Some may like everything on their cheese steak, I just want to taste the steak.
