I had the best meal of my life here. I know that is a bold statement but I’m being serious. I came here with my family. There were 9 of us and Stephanie was our waitress. Stephanie was lovely, very attentive and knowledgeable. I ordered the pistachio crusted salmon with a risotto cake. Everyone in my family enjoyed their meal. Also had the rainbow cookie cheesecake. My palate was in Heaven from start to finish. Favorite favorite favorite restaurant ever.

Found this place on tik tok when someone posted about it and wow this has now become one of my top restaurants to go to! Had an amazing anniversary dinner the staff was fantastic the food was top notch made to order food everything was delicious the bread and garlic knots with that oil and spices was everything and the chicken meatballs were the star I could eat those every day for the rest of my life definitely a must try spot and will be back here definitely worth the drive!

WOW!!! I checked the internet for the best Italian restaurants near Bay Shore. Butera’s came up as #1. The reviews were so positive that we decided to try it out. I called just as lunch was about to end, to order for pickup almost as soon as they open for dinner. Many times you could get greeted with someone who doesn’t want to take an order so close to the change between lunch and dinner. This was not the case at Butera’s. The gentleman who took my order by phone was extremely friendly and very helpful with getting my order set for pick up. We arrived when they opened and within minutes our order came out as promised. The food was amazingly delicious! My husband had pan seared scallops with green pea & bacon risotto, I had the pistachio encrusted salmon of which the piece of salmon was so large I could only eat half of it with a tomato herb risotto cake, and my father had angel hair pasta with meat sauce which was perfectly cooked and not mushy and my mom had the calamari fritti and the baked eggplant gratinato appatizers. Plus we enjoyed deliciously light garlic knots! Every dish was cooked perfectly! The food looked and smelled so good that we dug right in and I was late and taking pictures. I would definitely recommend this restaurant hands down!

Good place – My husband and I recently went during the week and sat at the bar, the bartender was lovely. Drinks were good – the Billionaire’s Margarita was tasty and their wine selection is great – the Amarone is one of my favorites. We shared some items and still had leftovers to take home – The shrimp limoncello is out of this world! Also had the chicken meatball pizza which was delicious. Burrata was also done very nicely. I think I prefer them during the week rather than the weekend, less rushed & definitely more attentive staff.
