Shockingly good. They only have a few people working so service can be a bit slow, which i think it’s worth it for the place, the food is definitely worth it. One of the best beef bulgogis I’ve ever tried, no joke. The rose rice cakes were delish. You do have to ask for banchan but they’ll still bring it to you. Will likely be back. Atmosphere of the place is good too!

I like that they decorate the place to resemble Korean Pochas. The food itself was pretty mediocre and overpriced. The Ddukboki did not have a good balance of sweetness and spiciness. The Kimchijeon also wasn’t crisp enough. They also charge a lot for the Soju

We got the army stew and fried chicken. Stew had good flavor, but wasn’t as filled with stuff as I was expecting. Fried chicken was quite tasty, though the breading was pretty heavy. Overall the food was good, but fairly expensive for what we got.

I can’t believe this place flew under my radar for so long! Located conveniently in Capitol Hill and open for late night hours, this is a fantastic spot to fill up before a night of bar hopping. We tried the corn cheese, spicy rice cakes, bulgogi, and squid and it was so delicious and filling! The service was a bit slow and the restaurant is loud and crowded but it was worth it for the food. A couple of bottles of soju and you forget all about the noise. The meat dishes also come with rice and side dishes which were awesome.

I went here after the dance class next door, I attempted to order a sugar free drink that was on the menu , diet coke , coke zero , unsweetened tea and asked if they had sweet and low . All diabetic options were out of stock but the expensive import drinks were fully stocked . At that point I was annoyed and just sat there while my girl friend ordered , I would have left if it was not for her wanting to be there. This being my first time ever at a place like this the menu lacked non greasey foods while next to a dance studio . This is a five star review so it’s at the top

I had too many drinks by the time we arrived, so my memory of the details is hazy. However, I recall the experience being enjoyable. The four of us shared a variety of food and drinks, with each person paying $30. The service was friendly and I have a positive impression of this establishment. Soju Anju Bar is super cute and decorated to give those Seoul street cafe vibes. I love that they have the container chairs you can lift up to out your purse or other belongings inside, just don’t forget to grab them when you’re leaving! I regret not snapping some photos.

the food was five stars, in fact we loved the army stew. we just ran into some small things that added up to a bit of frustration. first the army stew came out and was missing the noodles so they had to bring that out after the fact. then the fried chicken came out and instead of letting us know they were out of wings they just served us four legs. don’t get me wrong, they were tasty, but it seemed like something they should have let us know about when we ordered. lastly was just an error on my bill, which thankfully they fixed. i think it would be helpful if they had more then one server. i would come back for the food without a doubt.
