This review is for the restaurant in Melbourne square mall. The food was plain awful. The rice was dry, the 3 chunks of bony chicken was a joke and the Yukon was hard and flavorless. The only reason I didn’t dispute the charges was because it wasn’t my credit card used. I even complained about the food and was told they will cover the food and buy bigger serving utensils That’s it. I threw that garbage where it belongs in the trash. I do not recommend eating here. The customer service is terrible and the finger nails are so long I don’t know how the cook let alone clean. Do not eat here!

Best pollo guisado!! The plantain and rice were delicious and surprisingly packed with so much flavor. There was no line at all so we decided to check it out. It was a such a pleasant surprise and I still think about this to this day on the time we got food from a mall and being this was 2 months ago.

First time eating from here. Service was friendly but pork and portion was subpar. We ate at 1:00 pm on a Tuesday and the pork tasted like it was from the day before. The pork was not tender at all, it was hard pieces that were both dry and greasy at the same time. The red beans and rice were really tasty but we were barely served any beans over the rice which I wish we had more of because they were delicious. The plantains were ok, a little dry and cold but weren’t too bad. I will still try this place again but I’ll be trying to chicken next time which looked amazing. Lastly, for the price, the portions feel like they need to be a little more generous.

Food is delicious and that’s all that matters to me anyway! Very flavorful the yuca needed salt but still very tender and traditional. I recommend the plantains and the chicken is good next time I think I’ll try the ribs or the meatballs

Raw rice, if I want to eat raw rice definitely will not go out and burn it at home. But man, charging me 15 dollars for giving me raw rice? And don’t invent now that this is a exotic boricua recipe, never again.

A little piece of my Puerto Rico inside Lakeland Square Mall. The service was good and so was the food. Finally a place where you can eat rice that has actual flavor in it. Which actually means a lot because Americans have a tendency to not season their food properly. I’ll be visiting again soon.

Was surprisingly surprised. Since I didn’t see a line I was a little suspect. But the rice and the chicken and the plantain that we got tasted fresh. Good job.
