I’ve always eaten at Taco Bueno on versus Taco Bell… And I really hope that this is a one-time off thing and not a going-forward core quality of food choices. I used to love going to Taco Bueno because they had good bean. Today I stop through the drive-thru and got to combo looking forward to the good food until I bit into the first burrito… They didn’t wrap the burritos good soap squirted all over my lap and the quality of the food has gone down significantly since the last time I ate there.

I love Bueno for some good, cheap, fast Mexican food. Party burritos are my favorite, but Mexi dips and chips is great too! I used to go to Hardin-Simmons back in the late 1990’s and used to eat at this same Bueno. I was glad to see they had updated it since then! Yummy and it was a great place to meet up with friends as we passed through Abilene.

This is a great chain restraunt. Better prices and overall atmosphere than Taco Bell. Never very crowded. It would be a five-star except the restrooms. They are unreasonably small with the biggest trash can they could find. When you open the door, that’s the entire space you get. Great staff and everything, though. Good for a road trip.

They sent us around front to wait for the food. 30 minutes later, when I finally went in to check on it: no food! I would go anywhere other than Taco Bueno.

I called the store 11 times and nobody would answer. Finally when someone did answer she was very rude and I hung up on her and she called me over and over and over again and then she finally left me a very hateful voicemail and I keep trying to call back and nobody will answer. While the delivery guy was at the store, I was trying to get a hold of him. I understand that they cannot communicate because it’s a separate but at the same time regardless, you need to answer that phone and she told me that it’s not a priority but it is a priority you’ve got people who want to make Colin orders and you’ve also got people who want to make complaints and regardless if it’s busy or not when the phone rings they can also be an emergency for one of your employees, so yes ma’am you absolutely do need to answer that phone because if I have to come up there, it will be an issue.

Went through with my sisters, had some card trouble on our end but the old grumpy white guy I presume to be the working manager at the time was a complete d*ckhead. Absolutely rude for no reason, verbally scolded us for not having our money prepared? Slammed the window in our face, and was a second of getting cussed out by this hormonal pregnant lady. Taco Bueno is mid at best. Should’ve just went to Taco Bell like we planned. Thanks for reminding me why I don’t eat there

Told to pull around — they have to cook my food. Should have known better. Sat outside for 1/2 an hour. Went inside: they forgot us. Had to get a refund. Left hungry. Service sucks!

I purchased the mexi dip&chips. The beans were cold and dry, the queso was in a small plastic condiment container that was barely cover the bottom of it. My friend ordered the chilada platter it was cold and had more tortilla than anything else. Won’t ever go back.
