This is the second time I’ve purchased food from this place. I wasn’t satisfied the first time and I am not satisfied with this order (a year later). My mistake was not reviewing it sooner.

Nicks has been around for a few years now. But since they moved a few doors down, their prices have become unreasonably high. They are charging $18 for a quarter chicken meal. The piece of chicken they gave me was so damn small. It was ridiculous. They loaded me up with sides to offset.

Visiting from out of town we came across Nick’s quite accidentally… and we were very glad. Serious soul food. Fantastic chicken, some of the best greens I’ve had in a long time, and wonderful mac ‘n cheese and sweet potatoes. We gobbled it up!

Food is always delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive. Usually very busy. Chicken and side dishes are seasoned really well. Once I noticed that I did not receive a side order. Called store and was told to come by. Didn’t return for weeks and they remembered. Gave an extra side with my order. Hefty portions, too. Love Nick’s, especially on Sundays! ❤️

After awaiting in line to order for twenty minutes at 38 weeks pregnant with no greeting, no thank you for your patience, no anything. I finally get to place order and at checkout the credit card machine goes down and the young lady says there’s an atm across the street. No apologies, no offering, no other solutions? Who’s paying the fee?

It’s good to visit a family owned restaurant that has good food/service. My Husband told me about them about a year ago and it’s nice to finally be able to taste for myself. They used to have a smaller location a couple of doors down, but they’ve been in this nicer spot for about a year…Chicken was very flavorful, greens were decent and the mac cheese was creamy. A little more cheesiness would have been nice, but not a big deal. I’d definitely eat here again.

Great customer service and even better food. I just wish the corn bread muffins were bigger. But I would definitely recommend their food.

It was great prompt service. The food tasted good but it made me sick.. I can’t say it was the food though it could have been just rich for my stomach. The atmosphere was just okay I felt it needed more flavor it was dim and depressing. For it to be a pig town staple I wanted more. Also might I add that the food was kinda expensive
