My wife and I went here for Fathers Day. It is a nice place but maybe designed for a generation younger than us . The food was good – I had a biscuit & gravy topped with fried chicken. My wife had a brisket ‘benie’ topped with a tomatillo sauce. Hers was very good – better than mine. My biscuit was like a hockey puck but the gravy was good. The inside is very nice and made for the younger crowd – games & noise!

We enjoyed Western Proper – we have had good meals her in the past with good service. This last visit was to have drinks and enjoy their bowling/aade lounge. We played three games of bowling and enjoyed their u shapes leather sofas. The decor is so different here and inviting nothing we have seen before in the dining room. There is an separte inviting bar you can enjoy meet friends and watch sports. We arrive in the early afternoon and was surprised by their 2 for 1 happy hour drinks. A great place to eat, lounge out, and hang out with friends.

Not going to lie… the menu was very small and i didn’t feel like i had a lot of options. The place itself is cute and very lively with the bar and bowling allies, but the food was a 6/10 i’d say. the fries weren’t that bad, but we didn’t take the left over pizza home

Nice little place, clean and nice atmosphere. Staff were very nice and attentive. Food price was a bit on the high side I felt, but it seemed like it would be worth it. Unfortunately steaks were a bit bland and very small. Fish tacos didn’t have much flavor and I struggled to chew through the very rubbery fish. Over all it wasn’t super bad, but we left underwhelmed and a bit on the hungry side.

We love Western Proper, great place to meet family and friends. Great food and service, the drinks did come out slow, but not an issue for us. Great bloody Mary…. Not too much tomato juice, great flavor, rimmed with black pepper and plenty of olives, cheese, bacon, carrots, celery, banana pepper and lots more. All of the drinks were great!! The food was incredible!! Our group split meals… Excellent!!! Do yourself a favor and go hang out.

Had a great family date night with girlfriend and my sister and her husband and son. Food was good and decent pricing. Would be a fun regular date night with food drinks and games. The mini bowling was a kick in the pants. Also a lot of general couch seating for hanging out and just having drinks and chatting with out the dim noisy bar feel.

We stopped in for a date night. When we walked in, the hostess seemed thrown off that we had just walked up…she was cleaning menus. We chose to sit in the game room, which was a mistake. The tables and couches are so oddly arranged that it felt like they didn’t plan any of it out. We sat at what felt like a cheap little bar-height table. Our salads were small and not impressive for the price. The drinks were $15 each and were what we call “half-shot drinks”…not at all impressive in taste or volume.
