Pleasant surprise to find top tier bbq in Albany. Representing different regional styles pretty well. Had brisket, mrmphis style dpare ribs and north carolina pork.

Yall, my NC heart is soaring. I haven’t had greens this good since I moved here.

The wings were great, however almost everything else was a let down. If you’re going to spend $85 on a couple of dishes you’d expect them to be good. The mac n cheese was super plain. The bacon mac n cheese had crumbs on top that were way over cooked and made the meal not a because they were all stuck together and very hard. The chicken sandwich and the pulled pork was good also the sauce is great quality its just the side dishes that need work.

Love their food! The pulled pork is excellent, and comes in 3 styles. Plus, I can’t forget to mention the AMAZING FREAKING CORNBREAD! Before coming here, I could take it or leave it when cornbread was available. Tasting the amazing freaking cornbread with the delicious maple butter was a game changer for me. I order it EVERY single time I go there, which is at least once a week.

I loved the ribs from here, and sampled a bit of all the styles the had. The sauceless was my favorite, because I enjoy the char from the grill. They had a variety of sides and other options, and I think this is a good place for BBQ.

Read reviews online, seemed pretty decent so decided to drop by for a late lunch. I told them it was my first time, the dude suggested I try the beef brisket with collard greens. The beef was “melt in the mouth”. I didnt quite fancy the collard greens, seemed too vinegary for my taste. Other than that, it was great. Service was awesome.

The dry rubbed chicken was awesome! The pork and brisket were good but had far too much sauce added. The mashed potatoes had a good flavor but were very wet and runny. The cornbread came with a sauce or something on it which made it inedible. The baked beans were good. Overall satisfied with food and speed of delivery.

Hands down best BBQ I’ve had in NY in the 3 years I’ve lived here. The collard greens are amazing. I’ve bought by the pound for several parties and it’s always impressed. They would have a reputation for their brisket in Texas and the South Carolina pulled pork is better than most all the pulled pork I ate in South Carolina.

Since it was my first time there I was offered samples of their three barbecue sauces. All of them had great flavor with good spice.

If you’ve ever had good decent bbq, don’t go out of your way for this place. I found this place on the internet and it was on my way to Canada so I decided to stop by. Customer service was good, but the food itself wasn’t anything special. The sides weren’t that great and their cornbread tasted like a dessert. The chicken was decent.
