This is our first time to Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza. We were greeted by a pleasant staff member and seated promptly. They had a nice menu selection and good beers on tap. The pizza came out quickly and was piping hot! The Paulie’s pizza with the hot peppers was amazing. We definitely will be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Don’t bother ordering from this location. They clearly either have a management issue or quality control. Ordered a pot of meatballs and garlic knots. The knots as you can see we’re clearly inedible. Hard as a lump of coal. The meatballs were in a watered down marinara sauce. Never have we had such an issue. And of course they didn’t provide any bread w the order.

Place is always a decent spot to hit- Usually the workers have a smile on their faces & are on point BUT sometimes they I wish they would take their faces out of their phones & wish if they don’t want to write an order down, then GET IT RIGHT. Food is usually on point but gotta say, not only this place, but many “bartenders” have no clue what a twist is…. Never mind how to do it correctly. Another thing is the eggplant orders are NEVER the same size when ordering a large…. Always feels like it gets smaller & smaller- even when asking to confirm it’s a large. Thought it was me, but others say the same thing. Pizza & wings are good.

It’s a pizza restaurant, but the wings are out of this world!!! I travel all the way from the Bronx to Long Island JUST to get some wings. They are superb to say the least!! Only got a 20 piece, needed to buy two orders!! Lol.

Got dry wings for take out and there was no bread, no dipping sauce, no napkins in the bag. Bag was tied up with a knot while I paid, so I wasn’t watching what they put in the bag. Wings good but disappointing experience.
