We went in for brunch and the food was surprisingly good, every single thing we ordered was amazing. The only exception was the brunch mimosas which were lackluster in comparison. We switched to frsa jalapeno margaritas which were also really good!! Definitely recommend.

I’m not overly fond of Tex Mex food, but it was my friend’s birthday and she chose this restaurant. We were 3 of us, 2 strict vegetarians and myself. We started off with mango margaritas that we enjoyed a lot. Followed by nachos (they were kind enough to bring the chicken separately as well as the queso because it had flour in it and the birthday girl is gluten intolerant.

I’ve only been here for lunch/happy hour but the margaritas are always well made. Favorites are the shrimp taco (it is very different from shrimp tacos I’ve had elsewhere) and the bowls. Chips and salsa are fresh as well.

Came here for dinner last night. We sat outside. Lot of outside seating. Weather was great. Guacamole was okay. I had the chicken tinga burrito with red mole sauce. The sauce was really good, with a bit of heat. My wife had the shrimp fajitas and enjoyed them. They were large shrimp. I would come back to try more food including the birria tacos. The churro doughnut was great. They give you 3 pieces, large enough to share with 3 people and hot mexican chocolate to dip it on.

Great space and very active energy. The food was so so flavorful and the spice on the chips was a fantastic addition. I will have to find out the brand of tortilla chips they use. Everything was so well spiced and cooked. 10/10 would love to come back and try more on the menu. Great vibe for a date night or family catch up. I recommend the chicken quesadilla and the chips and salsa.

El Bebe was pretty good! The food was a but overpriced but the flavors were decent. The drinks were strong and delicious! The location is nice because you can walk around The Boro afterwards.

This was not at all what I expected. The portions were small and the food was flavorless. For the price point the food should have been better! Overall the food didn’t have much flavor. The hot sauce wasn’t even spicy. And they gave us someone else’s bill! I gave them my credit card before I got the bill because after eating such a terrible meal I wanted to run for my life. That was a huge mistake when they accidently charged me for someone else’s meal. They fixed it but overall a bad experience between the terrible food and service. I will not be returning.

I went for the soft opening, and it was fantastic. The food is absolutely delicious, and the presentation is great (see photos). Also, the Tequila Old Fashioned is one of my favorite cocktails in the DC area now. In short. Food 5/5, ambience 5/5, drinks 5/5. Will be going back!

Pretty annoyed with myself for not coming here sooner. Had a great dinner! I really enjoyed the corn dip starter and I randomly got the spicy cauliflower tacos. I thought they were awesome and would get them again. I think it may be a bit too spicy for some people, but I enjoyed it. The beans and rice that came worth the tacos were really good.
