Amazing experience! Great selection of local comfort foods for vegetarians, vegans and “friends of vegetarians” which I thought was a nice touch. Tye vegan gumbo was probably the best I’ve had (even compared to traditional) and you MUST save room for dessert! The bread pudding bites were fried on the outside but still gooey on the inside.

Incredible! Kina, the owner, greeted us as we walked up and took care of us the whole way through. She made recommendations and they were all delicious! Southern hospitality at its best. if we’re in town again we’ll definitely be back! We enjoyed the vegan mac and cheese, jack fruit burger, and fried cauliflower with Soulé sauce.

Nothing more I can say except amazing! The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the food was out of this world, they had heaps of vegan options and lots of non vegan options too. I had the fried green tomatoes which were incredible, topped off with some vegetarian buffalo wings and I would go here everyday if I could!!! Thankyou

Visited as a last minute stop while in New Orleans. I think this is probably the best vegan food I’d had during this trip. I ordered the wings, vegan mac and cheese, and gumbo. All delicious. Had some vegan gumbo from a different restaurant earlier in the day and that one paled in comparison to this one. Bf who is not vegan also really enjoyed his non-vegan options. Definitely recommend.

Horrible place. Took a party of 16 for a graduation celebration. We were the only people dining. The food was bad. How can you mess up sweet potato fries? They had no flavor and some were undercooked. Tuesday night tacos were on “ hardened “ shells bc they were sitting too long exposed to the air.

Ambiance was dope. I can definitely see how sitting in a different area will give you a different experience. Service or staff workers were completely nice and genuine and we all got along. Last but definitely not least the food was buttery delicious and it was not over the top I would definitely want to try everything on this menu.

I have never experienced something like this before. The food was honestly great. Everything else was horrid. 4 of us arrived around 7:45 and it took 20 minutes just for the waitress to come back after ordering drinks with the drinks and to take our order. After the order we sat here for another hour and then about 15-20 minutes apart each dish, minus one, arrived. The last dish took a total of 2 hours after placing said order to arrive. Not only this, but we had to order it to go because we were so fed up and on top of this, they had the audacity to keep it on the tab. The food is the only saving grace. If you have 2.5-3 hours to kill, this is the place to be. Every table around us with a lesser sized party got their food before us and have left. Meanwhile we are still waiting, 2 and a half hours later. I’d suggest any of the other amazing restaurants in New Orleans. If you are here for the vegan food, there are better places such as Bearcat.

The food was good but the staff was so busy with takeout orders that it made for a poor dining in experience. 1 cook… Smh. I would try again, but I’m definitely doing take out next time.
