My fiance and I had driven 3 hrs from NC and all I can say is it was a wonderful experience. The food was really good it hit the spot. The service at the counter was very welcoming. She made me feel like I had known her for a while she was that friendly. Reminded me of home they also has the hawaiian music playing so we enjoyed the atmosphere. Parking wasn’t that bad either lots of parking. We will definitely make future trips.

Always delicious and you get huge portions! I love their barbeque chicken, tossed salad (and house dressing), and macaroni salad. You can easily make two meals out of one order. Staff are courteous and helpful.

My husband went to get us dinner, he got the chicken katsu and I ordered the katsu curry. It was busy and they were understaffed so it was an extremely long wait, which wasn’t a big deal because they’re only human and I try to be kind to people in the food service industry. The problem was that the food we received was not at all worth the wait. Not only was some of the chicken so overcooked or old that it was inedible, but I didn’t get any curry at all which is literally the main reason I tried this place. I’m willing to give it another try some other time when it won’t be as busy, but the awfully prepared chicken and complete lack of curry were so, so disappointing.

We visited here for the first time. I did not enjoy my food. I ordered the BBQ beef bowl and the meat had a weird texture to it. Some of the meat was over done and I had to chew it over and over just to get it down my throat. Ugh! It was not as tasty as I had hoped. Threw away half of my meal in trash. My mom ordered the seafood combo platter and it was not good either. I do not recommend this place.

UUPDATE: the franchisor reached out. Told me the manager would contact me. They don’t care. They are fine with uncooked meat.

Just fantastic Hawaiian fare at a reasonable price. Regular plate lunch with a spam musubi is perfect to fill an empty stomach. Mahalo!

Menu changed? No more BBQ Mix? Management? Not sure, but quality and quantity changed a lot. Very small portion for the rice bowls which costs more than $10 if you include tax and tip. Beef was like jerky not like before that was tasty and juicy. This time, they were dry, dark, tiny pieces, and very sweet. Ramen noodles were soggy, bland soup, but at least, the chicken katsu was okay. Mixed veggies on the rice bowls were watered down like sponges filled with water maybe the veggies were soaking in the pan filled with water. Too expensive for small portions and the food was not good at all. Service is quicker compared to the old L&L though. I hope C&C is still around because they were as good as the old L&L.

I just grabbed a musubi trio for lunch and it was excellent! I was worried it might be too little food but I am completely satisfied. The sauce on each musubi was so good and they put on the perfect amount. The gentleman at the register was so sweet and kind and even one of the cooks in the back was super friendly to me.

Super cool spot to get some awesome Hawaiian food that’s pretty hard to find in this area. Learned it was a chain afterward, although it doesn’t seem like a big chain – it’s just got all the best benefits with a well developed menu, very efficient, and high quality. Never had Hawaiian food before, and this was super great. So many options that I can’t wait to come back and try next time!

I have been here about three times. Everytime. The staff is super friendly. The restaurant is always spotless and clean. The first time I went I had the seafood plater. That stuff was delicious. You coconut battered fish and shrimp. As well as choice of another meat. The last two times I have gone. I have gotten the chicken combo. It’s Hawaiian BBQ chicken and chicken katsu. It’s a must try. The BBQ chicken with Hawaii BBQ sauce is fantastic.
