The place is small and cozy. It has the look of an old attic, but in a good way. The only non-alcoholic drink options are water, tea, amd soda. The water is brought out automatically in a very nice jar. They have outdoor seating available. The staff was friendly during my visit. The parking lot was full. Highly recommend!

Got done some work late, needed a local spot to grab some dinner quick. This place popped up quickly, local place in downtown Wilson. Looks like someone is trying to revitalize downtown and this place is doing that. Small place but was packed on a Tuesday night.

I’ve been a very big fan of Ruckus ever since my husband and I moved initially moved to Wilson in July 2021. I have recommended it to friends and co workers ever since because the burgers are quality, the drinks are on point and the servers have always been so sweet! That is until tonight, where my groups server, Katie, was a major buzz kill. I’m not sure if she was in a bad mood but after our first round of drinks and a couple appetizers, my friends wanted a round of tequila shots/2 oz pours . Katie then informed us that she could not allow us to take our shots in one big sip due to “liquor laws”. My friend and I, being former serves/bartenders, were very confused by this. We had never been told this previously, odd because a whiskey shot & PBR is a menu option. When I asked her if something had changed, she said that’s how it’s always been. She recommended a different bar, if we wanted to take “shots”. It’s not like we were asking for multiple rounds. We just wanted a single round. My table after that were off put since we didn’t know if we were being treated differently for some other motive or…? Next time we’ll simply go somewhere else that doesn’t make up laws just to avoid us from drinking. What an odd thing to do and put a major downer on the rest of our night.

On a day trip with my daughter in the downtown area. This restaurant is walking distance from train and bus stations. Lots of local artists and locals businesses within walking distance. You can see whirly museum from the restaurant.

We were in the area the other day and stopped in. We were seated quickly and service was fast. It was the two year anniversary of the restaurant, so we got 2 free margaritas apiece!! The margaritas were hand made, no pre mixed stuff. The food was delicious, fries tasted as if they had a tad bit of brown sugar on them which was delicious. My only complaint is I ordered my burger medium rare and it was closer to medium well/ well done. Even though the burger wasn’t cooked as ordered it was still juicy and delicious hence the 5 stars. We would definitely come again.

Great food, very friendly staff, nice vibe. Mimosa towers (2 bottles of Prosecco in a self-serve tower). Burger was delish and so was the grilled cheese (add egg). So glad we stopped in as we were passing through town!

Great food , good service, cool atmosphere! They have some great mixed drinks and killer burgers! Not to mention the creation of delicious appetizers! We had loaded tater tots in fried Brussel sprouts oh my goodness unbelievably delicious!!!! We usually have great service here unfortunately our last visit our server was a bit slow but overall our experience was good. This is definitely one of our favorite places to eat in downtown Wilson. Walking distance to the WhirlyGig park! Check out Ruckus and redemption next chance you het! You won’t regret it!

Their burgers are so delicious, juicy and full of flavor! I love that there is an option for a gluten free bun — I have celiac disease and cannot have gluten so this is HUGE for me.. there aren’t too many places in Wilson that have gluten free accommodations. My coworkers do not have dietary restrictions and love the burgers too and swear the French fries are the best they’ve had! I love that the burgers have that fresh off the grill flavor.

Awesome burgers. I love pimento cheese so I obviously had to try their pimento cheeseburger. It comes with bacon jam and pickles (but I ordered mine with no pickles). Delicious! My boyfriend got the smokehouse. It was okay to me but he loved it. You can add a side to your burger as well. I got fries, and I didn’t realize they were seasoned fries kinda like Arby’s but better than Arby’s. I just prefer regular fries. We didn’t try their drinks but we will next time.

We had a wonderful time here tonight. First time here but it will not be our last. We didn’t realize it was National Cheeseburger day until we got there. We both enjoyed a free cheeseburger which was amazing. We also had the loaded tots appetizer. Simply fantastic! With the burgers I had fries that were very good and my wife had the Brussels sprouts and they were amazing. We sat at the bar because they were very busy. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting some nearby folks and ended up talking and laughing for hours. A wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Thank you all!!
