We took a chance on trying a new sushi place and was pleasantly surprised. Loved the Asian decor, the variety of the menu and music—80’s rock. The sushi rolls were great—we had three kinds: California roll tempura, salmon roll, and Yummi Roll. We tried the corn beef egg rolls; they were okay. The meat didn’t taste seasoned and it was much too much grease pouring out once we bit into it. The most pleasant surprise was Free Cookie Wednesdays—those snickerdoodles were scrumptious! Finally, our server was super attentive and very patient with our questions; we’ll give this place another try.

In my opinion this place is one of the best sushi spots in Southern Michigan! Absolutely freshest sushi I’ve had since living in California and I don’t say this very lightly!! Michelle is the one who took my order and she’s the sweetest, kindest person ever. Love how friendly, and professional everyone is. It’s soo difficult to find such authentic people anymore especially good ownership. I’m just impressed by the high quality of hospitality here felt like family. The shop is located off Wayne road. As of this time of the review there’s a bit of construction going on so might be a tad tough to find the shop but it’s soo worth it. Inside has a good amount of seating for a small place plus they have outside seating. Their menu is filled with soo many great options plus alcoholic beverages. But the sushi is truly the main and speciall story here folks. I’m just blown away by the quality and freshness..it’s beyond rare from my experience. Without a doubt my new favorite spot in town and now became a recent regular but first time reviewer. Nonetheless, this is a must visit if you’re interested in a great time and fantastic sushi!

The food was delicious and prepared quickly. The service was great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. For a family of four to eat out it was reasonably priced. We tried the the ramen, yakisoba, gyoza, crab rangoons, and fried oreos. We will definitely be back.

This place has some of the best sushi in the area! Their food is fresh, tasty, and affordable. The sashimi was delicious- nearly melted in my mouth. I love the avocado rolls personally, but they have a wide variety of rolls to choose from. Even if you don’t enjoy sushi or sashimi, they have other food that is yummy including noodles and chicken . The food is great, but the staff is amazing- if you have a chance stop here… it might become a favorite!

A couple days ago I took my wife on a date here since she’s been wanting sushi for so long and this month is her birthday month, I decided to treat her! This was the best place to possibly have surprised her with, I’ve never been here before (I never had good sushi either before coming here)! Let me be very clear, this place is underrated, their food is very very close to perfection and it’s just the kind of food that will make you smile just looking at it, let alone eating it. The customer service is immaculate and the prices are a YES! I really don’t know why I’ve never seen this place before but thank GOD I did, I’ve never experienced such a meal in my life, ESPECIALLY the dessert! Thank God for this restaurant even being in existence, I’m so grateful to have experienced such love in my tummy (they cook with love, you can tell) & I pray you enjoy yourself when you go! Oh also, reaaalllyy cool ordering style! (See photos)

This little hole in the wall will surprise you. Passing by, it doesn’t look like much of a place, but stopping in for a meal is quite an experience all in its own. Expect to wait about 5 minutes for the fresh food that you just ordered. It’s worth every second of your time. The portions are very generous, and all the food is top-notch.

Certainly weird recipes and they make them their own way. They aren’t bad but they are certainly not special. Spicy salmon was doused in some sauce that leaked out of the box (wasn’t spicy at all). Some sushi (forgot the name) was covered in what seemed like a pound of fried crab meat with something on it. Had a heavy feeling after eating the rolls from here. Some were tasty but literally all rolls kept falling apart as I was grabbing them. Just 3 stars overall – not that bad, but certainly not that good. With the area the place is located in, people certainly aren’t asking for gourmet sushi or great service, so don’t expect a whole lot. The place was also extremely hot inside, to the extent I had to step outside and wait for my order to be complete. The sushi guy was friendly but the lady taking the order looked like I bothered her by picking my order up. Honestly don’t get where their current rating comes from. As I mentioned above, probably from people who don’t know better in the area. 4 rolls coming to about $54 is an insanely overpriced product at a subpar place like this one. Just the facts.

Decided to try this place out when it was payday and I had a craving for sushi. I got the chicken tempura roll and crab rangood appetizer and it was so good, fresh tasting and surprisingly filling! The place itself is small but they make up for it with great food, and great service. You will feel right at home here. I plan on coming back to try out different flavors and ingredients they have since I know for certain that their food is just good!
