The comment below is clearly someone who works for them or has been paid. This company was not shut down because of the “government” . They were shut down because they are a nuisance to the entire neighborhood. Whether it’s their annual “block party” or fights or shootings. They respect no one except themselves. They do absolutely NOTHING for the community. They were shut down because of people like us who live around them and have to deal with their chaos. So keep spewing lies, let’s see if that block party happens this year where your restaurant told me “My child doesn’t deserve to sleep, because their child is not sleeping”.

I really hate to say this, but I ordered Chueltas and white rice and beans. None of the food tastes like authentic Puerto Rican food. I have very close friends that are Spanish and I have never seen beans that are supposedly red/pink beans and rice but the sauce was brown and not red. I didn’t order from Popeyes. The pork chops were okay, but the rice was a no for me.

Great locally owned restaurant. So glad they reopened after they were shut down by lies. This place is an asset to our community. The only nuisance is the government employees that had shut the place down for no reason . I support local owned businesses that provide jobs and great service .

As for me, as chef I am, not sure if they really have the real idea and perspective of a real Latin, puertorrican food.
